There is no presale this time for AMEX card holders. Spoke with someone today and no dice. Anyone heard a word about when the presale codes for the St Louis show are gonna be sent out?
While we don't know the precise details of how and when the Premium member pre-sales will open, I strongly recommend you do not rely on reciept of any e-mail alert. Rather than duplicate messages this topic here: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=84943 carries the best advice available at this time. In particular, note my follow-up post about ensuring you're logged in as a Premium member to ensure you see all the advice and details in full. Martin

Martin, that was helpful. Thanks. I will be keeping my eyes open here as a premium member for the best info.

I received two emails notifying me of these concerts. One had the words "Premium Membership" in the subject line. The other didn't mention Premium Membership. Your post said:
As logged-in Premium members you will "see" content not visible to Basic members or those browsing the site without being logged in.
What content can I see only if I'm logged in with my Premium Membership? I had quite a lot of trouble getting my premium membership set up, so I want to be sure in advance that everything is set up correctly.

I also received two emails. However, I am not relying on receiving an email for purchasing tickets.

To check if you can see premium membership content, log on, then click on your name in upper right hand corner. You should see some links under the main links. Click on "Premium Content". If you can see what's there, then you should be good. That's just to check. You shouldn't have to go to that page for ticket sales. I think I just clicked on the "Tours" page to buy tix for Liverpool in December. Hope that helps!

Don't depend on the emails. My friend, who is not a premium member, received her email 2 hours before my premium membership email arrived!

So the speculation is on, will the set list remain exactly the same? Now I know we are always going to have the core 10=12 songs. I am wondering if the songs will be the same as last year in Cincy and Chicago..

I'm not expecting hardly any change. I think Paul chose cities that he hasn't played in at least 7 years on purpose so that he did not have to make changes.

And yet... He played "Goodnight Tonight" last night... I can't help but hope for a few surprises like "Hope of Deliverance" (a new song for us US folks, at least new in the past 15 years) and songs like "Goodnight Tonight" to appear at some point in the upcoming shows.

Well yes, I'd expect maybe 5 new tunes to "US Soil" as he likes to say. But, except for hopefully "goodnight tonight", nothing game-changing as far as the setlist watch. Hopefully, he'll debut and make tracks like "Hope of Deliverance", "Things We Said Today", "My Valentine" and, "The Word/All You Need is Love" staples in these four dates. Gosh....I REALLY hope I make it to this...

He just does these new songs for them...not us. No...hope he does switch it up for this leg of the tour,

Got it! I just watched the interview about the making of "Kisses on the Bottom".

I would like to hear some new stuff, but either way I will be in St Louis..I wonder where he will stay there? The Ritz, Four Seasons??? Just curious.

I've always heard that Paul stays at The Four Seasons wherever he goes when in the US...I can't imagine this is always true...but it was in Philly 2010.
-
I will be happy with a few different songs at this point. I'm past complaining about the set list or having high expectations so I don't get disappointed.
-
I agree, macca..it does not do any good to complain or get disappointed, so we just go enjoy it. regardless of what he plays I go.
-
Exactly. Not that playing the same show year after yera is acceptable, but he isn't so it's okay. Could he change more? Yeah. Do I care enough to complain OR do I want to solidify traveling to St. Louis this fall!?!?!
-
Already have reservations...I know what I am doing...LOL
-
Where did you get reservations? I have no idea where to stay.
-
Depends on what you want to do if you want to walk or drive but I have three different reservations, The Hyatt is basically around the corner, the drury inn is about four blocks away and the omni is about 8 blocks away all of those should be OK. I have not made up my mind yet so once I do I will cancel a couple, it depends on who goes with me.
