There have been some good deals on hotels for that weekend close to the venue. I have yet to book but will once I know I have a ticket. So I am from California and never been to St. Louis. Is it worth me flying in on Friday night so I can have a full day in the city?

If I can get a great seat for the show, my plan is to fly in as early as possible on Sat and fly out as late as possible on Mon. This would give me time equal to a full day for sightseeing, but keep cost down with just 2 nights hotel.

I have to take off from work to catch the pre-sale. Do you guys think the web site pre-sale for the "pioneer" members will be Tuesday or Wednesday? I really hate this. We should should get some kind of notice.

You can always cancel the hotel if you do not get tickets, I have been stuck before with not getting the place I wanted because I waited.

That's the way I have done it in the past as well. Book a couple of places with advantages/disadvantages as to price, location, etc. and then cancel when things firm up.

I booked a room at the Drury Plaza Hotel at the Arch. It seemed to have the best combination of price and location for me. It's a little closer to the arena than the hotel where I stayed in KC. I tried a few Priceline bids for 4 star hotels up to $65.00 a night with no luck. It's probably a bit early to get a room on Priceline. I'll try again closer to November 11th.

The hotel was the first thing I booked. I can cancel right up until the day of the concert.

Since we don't know what ticket broker might be used, I went to Ticket Master to double check my account information. Sure enough, it was out of date, so I updated it. Also, I noticed that at the bottom of their screen, it says Live Nation is a part of the Ticket Master network. Does anyone know of any other ticket brokers where we might want to create an account in advance?

Hi Mark, I wish I had a better answer for you, but the best advice that I may offer at this time is to remain very close to the main site tour page, the main site news and blogs concert announcement page (for updated information), and the Rock Show forum here at the message board. If the past is any indicator, and please fully understand that it may not be such, typically Paul's pre-sales have been held on the same day as other venue, promoter, etc. pre-sales. It is important to note that we have seen Paul's pre-sales begin a day earlier and a day later than other scheduled pre-sales. We have seen premium member pre-sales held 1 - 3 hours prior to the opening of basic member pre-sales, but please understand that I have no idea if the same will hold true for these concerts. So sorry that I cannot be of more assistance to you, but the system has not been in place long enough for us to gain a proper sense of pattern. Best of luck obtaining tickets! Hi, whether or not a pre-sale code/password will be required has yet to be determined. You may chat with other members discussing pre-sale codes/passwords here in our Rock Show forum: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=84943 For best advantage, please remain very close to the main site tour page, the main site news and blogs concert announcement page (for updated information), and the Rock Show forum here at the message board. Everyone making travel plans, keep in mind a few more cities will likely be added. It would be nice if that happened before already-announced tickets go on sale. I still think Minneapolis will be added. Even LA/San Diego, which have been way under-served in the past few years....

Hi, I'm a member of the website but not a premium member. How will the pre-sale for St. Louis go? Do only premium members get to be part of a pre-sale, or do the regular members get a shot at tickets before the general public on Friday. Sorry if this is a redundit question but I didn't have time to look it up on the various threads. Thanks you and go Paul! John in St. Louis

Basic members on Paul's main website get a presale after premium members on presale day. If i remember a basic member gets a chance a hour or two after premium members.

San Diego really? Are you just speculating?

Yes, with the fees, the top seat comes to $267...that's actually a bit cheaper than my last concert...Yankee Stadium was $279 w/ fees.

I hear you. However, in my case, it's pretty unlikely he'll come back to my area (South Florida), having just played Miami about 2 years ago. So, I figure I'm going to have to travel SOMEWHERE to catch a new show.... may as well be St. Louis. Besides, I've never been there..... I'll be able to scratch the St. Louis Arch off my bucket list, and have some good ribs! (Sorry Paul, and the other 'veggies' here.) And airfare to STL for the weekend is pretty cheap for me. Like $220 roundtrip, fees included. And STL works out perfectly for me, date wise, as far as work commitments go. Just waiting to see how the presale goes before i pull the trigger on my travel plans and book it. But yeah, it would be nice if he announced the full itinerary beforehand.... In a perfect world!

Wonder what the difference is between a 'Hot Ticket Package Presale' and a 'Presale'?
