NBC's Today Show to feature John Lennon December 8
-
Wanted to give everyone a heads up -- When I was watching the Today show yesterday (Friday, Dec. 4), they announced that Harry Smith will be doing a special segment on John Lennon on the Today Show, Tuesday, December 8, the 40th anniversary of his death. Not sure what time, since Today begins at 7 a.m. and ends at noon.

I heard Alec Baldwin interview Paul last night on YouTube about Lennon's 80th Birthday and some Paul memories of his fallen mate, and I got kind of choked up, almost started bawling at one point. It was so sweet and poignant, Paul's thoughts on this. Made me want to give him a warm hug. Paul related some anecdotes and remembrances with so much warmth and at times humor in his voice. They laughed at times. It's more joy than sorrow, John's story.

The Today Show is NBC and DirecTV has not come to a price agreement with the company that owns the local station, so no NBC for me. I think I'll be able to watch This Is Us and Saturday Night Live on Amazon Prime Video. Been missing Dateline!
P.S. Today in Atlanta is from 7-10am, then 10-11am is Hoda & Jenna, then local stuff 11-12.
