Paul Mccartney 2022 - rumours

It's great to have a new tour
-

I already knew about the Hard Rock show, as it's been rumored for a couple weeks...
But VERY happy to see Orlando is in there too. I live about 25 minutes from the Hard Rock Casino, but I have very stressed out about that show. Hard Rock will be likely be double to triple the price of the other venues and very very hard to get tickets.
Orlando should be way easier and cheaper, so I'm glad to have that stadium show to fall back on if the Hard Rock Live show is a nightmare. Orlando only a 3 hour drive... I can handle that. I already saw him at that stadium in 1993 when it was called the Citrus Bowl.

Very excited about the news! Does anyone know what the VIP packages will look like this tour? Is there any info on ticket prices yet? Will we find out the prices and packages before the presale starts?
Thanks!

After a nearly five year hiatus from this board... I come bearing (hopefully) news...
...We literally JUST booked our Hawaiian vacation about an hour before this story broke...so naturally, I won't be able to sleep tonight thinking about the embarassment of riches abounding as we near the light at the end of this tunnel on the pandemic. Of course, the cynic in me won't be able to sleep fearing that Sir Paul will finally be in Baltimore when I am not... anybody have any leads on when these US dates are happening? It seems like the links above suggest the month of May.
I have been away from this board for years too - but I do remember you! Hope the dates work out in Baltimore. I think I will have to pick a city and try to grab those tickets on Tuesday. Very excited for this news today!

I was just wondering about the same thing. Hope we get more pricing information soon.

I see the event dates and pre-sale time on Ticketmaster, but no prices for any packages yet.

I've noticed recently that TM does not post prices until the tix are actually on sale. So we may not find out until that morning. SloTix has the VIP packages listed but no prices yet either; I expect them to be at least the same as 2019, if not slightly higher.
And we probably need a new thread because these are no longer rumours!

WOWOWOWOW

Do you remember how much VIP packages were in 2019? I'm considering getting one this year, never have before. We did get an AMEX this morning to take advantage of their presales, lol.

Have just had an email through about Paul 's new USA tour dates, will actually be visiting USA mid April though not co-inciding with his gigs there. May wait to see if he announces UK dates and whether his voice still holds up. Last saw Paul live in Paris Nov 2018

Oakland CA, YES! So very close to me! Now comes the anxiety of trying to get tickets next week!

I think Front Row package was $2,000 and Hot Sound was $1,500. It sometimes varied depending on the venue--I beleive that in 2017, New York/Madison Sq Garden prices were higher than some other cities. But I don't remember how much Gold or Diamond packages were, sorry.

So excited about this!! I've been hoping he would go on another tour!
I'm having a lot of trouble getting the newsletter though... registered but I never actually get them. Anyone know what to do about that?? I would hate to miss the presale.

What's the consenus? Do we think we'll still be offered a chance to buy tickets by being memebers of this community?
C
If you receive the paulmccartney.com newsletters, you will get a pre-sale code.

$1600 for rows 2-8 (approximately) $2100 for front row (on each side, not the middle - he gives those away to people in the nosebleed sections who are young & good looking!) $750 for Gold VIP, $650 for Silver VIP.
If you receive his newsletters they will send a pre-sale code to you.

Also, if you have an AMEX card you can get in the pre-sale.

The best seats will be obtained by AMEX cardholders as their pre-sale starts at 10am on the 22nd. People who only get the newsletter will have to wait until 12 noon. It says "local time" but wouldn't that give an advantage to those at EST or further east? *confused*

Well any shows we get will be "minty fresh"
ROTFLMAO!
Exactly. I can predict the set list already. Basically the same show as years ago with maybe three songs from "McCartney III" replacing the couple of "Egypt Station" songs.
Hey Yankeefan...I guess I'm happy he's touring abain. It seems like a long time since he toured last and maybe the long rest will help his vocals sound better.
As far as Setlist additions/substitutions from the last tour, I hope we could get:
I Don't Know (Paul didn't do it on the last tour except 1 time in a rehearsal) Far better than "Fuh You" or "Come On to Me"
Happy With You - would love this in the acoustic section; so much better than doing Fuh You from the last tour
Hunt You Down/Naked - one of the encore songs instead of the Beatle Encore songs he has always done in the past.
Dominoes - one of his best Solo songs instead of "Come On To Me"
Confidante - maybe he could do a better vocal than what's on the album/Egypt Station
Early Days - replaces "Here Today" as a tribute song to John
Friends to Go - replaces "Something" as a tribute song to George
Find My Way - wouild love to hear the full Band doing this great song on McCartney 3
Seize the Day - my favorite song on McCartney 3
Slidin - great new rocker instead of Helter Skelter
_________________________________________
These are just some of the "wishes" I could only hope he would do on a new Setlist. And I did this strictly off the top of my head without thinking too much or researching the last Setllist. I'm sure there are many more choices you and I would love to see.

There really aren't a huge amount of seats released for the AMEX presale. As far as the "local time" that means 10:00 (or noon) where the venue is located. So someone on the east coast would have to wait until 1:00 (3:00pm) for tickets in Los Angeles.

Says "Page Not Found"
They've taken it down because they weren't supposed to announce it yet. Just around 20 hours left...
It's "got back!"
