Another rumored McCartney concert: July at Citi Field, in New York.
That one makes more sense to me. I expected him to do outdoor stadiums when he returned to touring, Indoor tours right now are still hitting postponements due to Covid outbreaks...see Eddie Vedder's current tour as a recent example.
No way should 80 year old Paul be doing stadium shows with the current state of his voice. Did you hear him sing the fist line of Live and Let Die on MCCartney 3,2,1? We all reach retirement age and it really is time for Paul to call it quits when it comes to live shows. His gift for song writing, however, is undiminished. I would much prefer to see Paul in the studio creating another Chaos rather than on the stage attemting to sing Band on the Run.
He did not sound good singing "Get Back" with the Foo Fighters when he inducted them intothe Rock and Roll HOF. I agree with you, he needs to retire from live shows.

Well any shows we get will be "minty fresh"
ROTFLMAO!
Exactly. I can predict the set list already. Basically the same show as years ago with maybe three songs from "McCartney III" replacing the couple of "Egypt Station" songs.

Sadly, I agree. Get Back (especially the beginning) was cringe-worthy! ️

After a nearly five year hiatus from this board... I come bearing (hopefully) news...
...We literally JUST booked our Hawaiian vacation about an hour before this story broke...so naturally, I won't be able to sleep tonight thinking about the embarassment of riches abounding as we near the light at the end of this tunnel on the pandemic. Of course, the cynic in me won't be able to sleep fearing that Sir Paul will finally be in Baltimore when I am not... anybody have any leads on when these US dates are happening? It seems like the links above suggest the month of May.
Welcome back Wix! When are you going to Hawaii? See my plans in the Flower Power Cruise 2022 thread.
I hope if the rumor is true he plays there when you're in town!

It's the same imagery and font used for the 'Freshen Up' tour. I imagine this is just an amateur mock-up.
Anyway, should be less than 45mins until the big reveal!
