I won't shell out $ for any of these acts unless they come to New Mexico. Since that ain't gonna happen, I will be saving a bundle!! I might just have to buy another guitar!

Paul isn't playing the field very competitively if he is indeed touring the US this summer. Since the Stones and U2 announce their dates in advance like most touring acts do, many will be planning to hit them first. Another reason I am beginning to doubt a US tour. Again, don't want to be a Debbie-Downer, but by now, we would have been hearing buzz rather than speculation! : Trust me, I hope I'm wrong.. hopefully lips have just been tightly sealed on any dates that may be in the works..

I would agree with you, but it doesn't make a lot of sense for him to break up his European tour to come to the U.S. for just one date, and he's already booked at Firefly. At the very least, I think he'll play in NYC.

Here's my guess: at least a couple more US dates after Firefly, and then a US tour in July/August.

I do think that too. As a few have mentioned previously, I think he could possibly be playing Citi Field in August - maybe as a 50th anniversary to Shea?! Again.. that's purely speculation. He's been to Yankee Stadium and Barclays too recently.. Really hoping MSG would be the venue though!

50th anniversary show at Citi Field would be amazing... I'm pulling for MSG too, and I think it's likely for late June.

I can see that becoming a reality. Hope so, anyway. If anything IS in the works, I hope we start hearing about it soon. Would be nice to start planning summer vacation time once and for all!

We'll know at 7 am tomorrow! Most likely will play July 31st, he tends to do Friday shows for festivals. I heard a very vague rumor this afternoon about a potential NYC show in late July as well. Possibly Forest Hills Tennis Stadium. I heard he's battling the Stones for it. Either Yankee Stadium or Forest Hills. Which is probably why the Stones didn't announce their tour last week, like they were supposed to... Is your source reliable Andy?
-
Or MetLife or Prudential Center. Forest Hills is TINY, but the curfew is 10pm. Nothankyou And it's disorganized. I'm hoping for an arena show or MetLife Stadium. MSG is out of the cards because of U2, unless he plays late June.

Not a McCartney source, a Chicago source. I would say 50/50.

Lolla is one of the last large festivals that he hasn't played yet, so it would not surprise me, given he seems to be hitting them all these past few years. 3-day passes went on sale today and were gone in about an hour. And his name is all over the InfoRoo message board....

For those going, I recommend seeing Moon Taxi.

when he played Chicago in 2011, it was also on July 31st!
-
i am thinking that is why he only played one night in Chitown instead of the rumored two last year as this may of been in the works. also update on the Citfield rumor-don't see it happening Foo Fighters are there for two nights and Zac Brown Band in August; a reliable source with the Mets said there are no other dates on hold for concerts as of now.
-
Lolla used to have a restriction that acts playing the festival could not play any gigs in nearby cities around the same dates as the fest. So a band could not play Lolla and then play indy or minneapolis within the same month. I don't know if they still put these restrictions on, or if Paul would be exempt, being Paul....so this Chicago show could be the only Midwest one...

I doubt that Paul will only play Lollapalooza and Firefly. However the other announcement didn't seem to allude to other dates being announced EDIT: They said this: "The festival appearance will form part of Paul?s 2015 tour which kicks off in Japan at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka on 21st April. Paul?s tour will then see him appearing in Tokyo and his first-ever concert in Seoul. From there he will visit the UK, France, Holland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware." "will form part of Paul's 2015 tour" ??????????????????????????
