Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors

5th-beatle:
If I had to guess, I would say after April 18. Perhaps even in May, like the ones that were cancelled.
Hi Carlos! I thought "after" too, but not for any particular reason that I could put my finger on. I think Paul mentioned April specifically for Japan, but maybe the dates could run into May if he arrives in late April? The Tokyo Dome is available from April 13 to 27 (https://www.tokyo-dome.co.jp/e/dome/schedule/?y=2015&m=4),,) then from May 7 to 11 and May 18 to 26 (https://www.tokyo-dome.co.jp/e/dome/schedule/?y=2015&m=5)..) Cheers, Andrew.

That's very interesting info. It seems those available April dates are too close to Ringo's ceremony, so I'm betting the tour will be in May.
-
Nothing yet for 2015?

So far, just a few possibilities: Japan in April (according to Paul, but I would not doubt it actually happening in May), Argentina (in Buenos Aires) and Brazil (in Porto Alegre), both maybe in November. No doubt there will be a US tour in the summer. Apart from those... time will tell.
-
I hope in November it doesn't rain in Porto Alegre like it does in Sao Paulo and Brasilia.
-
5th, you sure about a US tour? Paul says he has no plans... Which might be a good old marketing trick. Lol.
-
I would be shocked if we didn't get stadium shows in the states this summer. He could still bring the Out There tour and hit some cities he still hasn't touched...not nearly as many as the past two years though. I'd imagine he'll find his way to NYC as that seems to be on an bi-annual basis. Maybe something related to the 50th of Shea Stadium...back at Citi Field? You heard it here first!
-
Oy. Not another Shea thing. The Billy Joel and CitiField gigs were enough.

I will be surprised if he skips the US in the summer.

RMartinez:
The lyrics are a bit sexist.
I believe it that was (tongue in cheek) the point. It was a send up.

Wait. You're saying the song is actually about standing up for women's rights? Like "Blackbird" is a civil rights song? Ha ha aha ha ha ha!! Good one!
-
The song, albeit harmless enough, is inherently sexist -- why does the secretary have to be a "she"?
-
Didn't the 12 inch (oops is that sexist?) portray a gal amanuensis sitting on Paul's lap?

Yikes! I thought you were joking -- however...

...while Paul is on the blower.

I would be shocked if he did this in concert.
