He was never supposed to play Hartford in 1993, I think that was just an error on the date in the post above. He did play there in 2002. Am not privy to any info about what happened but I was there and recall long delays getting people in. It was raining and most people naturally chose to enter through the main doors which were entered via an indoor shopping complex. I went in through doors that were directly on outside (in the rain). Anyway people were late getting in which delayed the start. Not aware of what else may or may not have happened. The venue is currently undergoing a major remodel/renovation. Hartford is definitely a secondary market (halfway betw Boston and New York) and on that point alone it would be surprising if Paul returned there.
Well, it seems CT, NM and SC are the only places he has played and decided never to return to, so I guess he has his reasons. All are secondary markets, so I get that.
What happened in NM? I saw him play there at Aggie Field (sic) on the New Mexico State campus in Las Cruces and he was touring in support for the "Off The Ground" album. I never heard of any issues in New Mexico.
I was also at that show. Not sure what the issues are, except for a flat economy. Still, I find it hard to believe that places like Lubbock, Fargo and Missoula can support a McCartney show, but not Albuquerque. We have a 40,000 seat football stadium that hosted the Rolling Stones, and Las Cruces obviously has the 30,000 seat stadium where McCartney played. What is most disheartening is the NM promoter who brought him in 1993 actually helped bring him to Lubbock, but did not get a NM show.

This is not a rumor but a prediction: in 2015 he will play the USA and Brazil.
That's not a rumor or a prediction...it's a GIVEN.
Oh without a doubt,if not check the temperature because hell will indeed have frozen over.

He's pretty well covered the U.S and South America this year and last. He may not return next year. Maybe it's Europe and the U.K's turn, and some other parts of the world he hasn't been back to or never been. Just have to wait and see.

True that he has covered the U.S. very well this year, but I highly doubt that he'd totally skip the U.S. next year. It's just too lucrative of a market for him to pass over.

If he is touring he will NOT skip the US & South America. He may add Europe & the UK but I agree it is just too lucrative.

Yup he simply prints money when he goes there so why shouldn't he? though on a purely personal note im getting a bit fed up waiting for UK dates, its been awhile, but as ive said many times something i think he's been advised to do given the stick he got for some parts for the jubilee/Olympics etc a couple of years back.

I tend to agree with you, that the UK and Europe may just get a turn. It has been a while for those parts of the world. But the USA and South America seem to have become an annual event, kind of like Jimmy Buffet when he plays to his rabid followers year after year with no abatement.

Unless something happens to him, there will be at least one show in the states and one show in South America. No doubt in my mind at all. He's played NYC every other year since 2005, I expect that chain to reach a tenth anniversary in 2015.

Agreed, but Paul most likely will not get my money since the only 3 places I will go to see him are pretty much on the never happen list. I've spent enough money on Paul over the years, so I am no longer lucrative to him.

I'm in the same boat. I've made my contributions to the McCartney Fund over the years!! Ha ha!! No more, unless he brings his show to my town.

He did not cover South America so well this year. He hasn't performed in Argentina since 2010. He could also do Bolivia and Venezuela, and of course more shows in Brazil! lol

Well, if he really wants to head south of the equator again how about Cape Town, South Africa? Fantastic setting with the stadium right on the waterfront and Table Mountain in the background. Stones and U2 have done it and I think Springsteen as well. It could be Paul's first ever concert on the African continent.

Not sure if Africa is the best place to be right now...with all the health scares.

With Ebola and stuff who knows lol. BTW Queen got a bad rap for performing there in 1984

Well England is closer to the Ebola outbreak than South Africa so that argument is invalid I think it would be a great venue

AND he was performing in Atlanta on the same night that they transported one of the infected Dallas nurses to an Atlanta hospital! Springsteen played 3 shows in Cape Town at the beginning of this year, in the Bellville Velodrome. He also did a show in Johannesburg. I think once Nelson Mandela became president years ago, things improved in South Africa. So perhaps Paul could make a visit there. Altho he should definitely put Australia ahead of any that.

Then I hope Paul doesn't bring Ebola to Brazil while I'm there
