Wow! I didn't expect so many reactions. It's just amazing.
I'm losing track so many posts coming in at once.
Thank you so much for all the responses and perspective. I feel a little less alone 🙂
Then I am sure at least, that no one of you will force me to play and sing "Fuh You" one day in front of Mr. McCartney. 😅😆

I'll be happy to sing Michelle with you in front of Paul... you can do the French bits.... although... I was pretty good at French back in the day!

      No problem with pleasure. 😁
I'll just have to work on it. 😅

When Paul talks to music students, he says to be true to your writing and write what you like and hopefully it will capture the listener. "Fuh You" seems to have strayed from the original intent to an inside joke that is way obvious and takes little work to figure it out. It is catchy, but I would like to have seen the attention and emphasis to have been put on the other songs of the album. He went on someone's recommendation, but gave up a bit of the original - the idea may have appealed to him and he went along. It may have been a fun surprise b-side of a single for a laugh.
"Come On To Me" can be listened to on the surface and then you might think aha I get it a nano second later.
"Fuh You" doesn't surprise or upset me or anyone that I know in my circle of friends - I would rather have seen that attention given to the many other songs on the album. Do I play the song and not skip it?  Yes I do.

Who Cares is written to those who are bullied in this world and all you have to do is look at the many you tubes today, reflecting the bullying tactics of the 45th POTUS.  It’s out of control.  I commend Paul for bringing a message to those who have been subjected to bullying.

Fuh You and Come on To Me were both very fun songs!  I especially love the video for Come On To Me,  always makes me smile 🙂  What’s wrong with fun, sex dancing and laughing after 60?!  Sorry but I have to call that out. A dear friends mom and dad were gymnasts and she was so proud they were having sex in their mid 80’s.  She used to make him do his sit ups LOL 😉  Just like the folks who want us all to retire from what you enjoy, just because you reach a certain number.  I say when you reach 60, you are just getting started and it seems like Paul has been eating some rocket fuel in his Cheerios lately. You go Paul!!!

"Taken out of context they sound like a geezer pretending to be young and hip, and I think a lot of people responded, basically, "Eeewww..."

            Bingo !!! - lol.

Since you're a tad late to this "party" I'll give you a pass since I totally agree with you! 😂
