How does someone get dead-center front row seats?

So after having said that I look today at all the TicketMaster sites & find the seats have been numbered. This happens every time, I don't think its just me.
This is the first time that I can remember that most if not all of the venues showed seat numbers. The Minneapolis seating chart from the target center didn't show seat numbers but explained above the diagrams that when you are seated, the lower number seats would be to your right. You were right this has always been a problem in the past.

You mean to your right as you face the stage, correct? Facing the seats it is usually numbered left to right.

Sweetie, that's exactly what I said--reread what I wrote (in bold) If these were seat numbers (from Paul's perspective looking at the crowd) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 etc. (in each of the 3 front sections)

Got seated into A3, Seat 31 in Munich, which is here: I hope it's not in front of his rising platform for Blackbird - if it isn't, I will get a good side view of him when he's on the magic piano or on the platform

The rising platform looks as if it will be right in front of you. When it is up, you'll still have a fine view of him. (I had similar seat in 3rd row in Atlanta)

Not true for all, maybe for some shows, but not all. When I was in the third row last October there were all sorts of people upgraded to first row, younger, older, etc. There was a family with a girl maybe around 8 or 9 who was having the time of her life that were given seats front and center. During the first break one of Paul's people gave her Abe's drumsticks, she was so excited when that happened.

I did it in another era by buying tickets for $250 each so $500 for the pair on the day of the show from a scalper. Well worth the money. My other front row experience was the worst Paul McCartney concert ever as I was so far away from the stage that I couldn't even see Paul or the band. I got to watch Brian Riddle and MJ Kim, but that is not who I went to see. I watched the concert through the little tv on the camera on the boom. People around me were so upset when those center seats filled in as they thought they were going to scoot over. I knew what was going to happen and it did.

That is nice to know. After the last experience of the Famous Groupie phenomenon, I quit trying to see Sir Paul. If I have to pay for my own ticket, transportation, makeup, hair and clothes I expect a fair chance to see the band too. I don't get my stuff "free." Anyway, when there is a concert for old ladies like myself, maybe an announcement can be made and I will try to buy a ticket.

I still don't think it's fair that the "upgrades " get 1st & 2nd row,front & center. A couple years ago I had 3rd row center & it seemed like all in front of me were upgrades or free tickets ...all young & very drunk,could have cared less there was a concert going on,much less that it was Paul. Looks like this tour first row center is available to fans. When I was trying for tickets for Grand Rapids show, ,I saw center seats ,front row. I opted for 3rd row because of price . But they were available!

Totally agree. In his last Phoenix show, I met a couple while waiting outside. They had front row free tix because he was owner of the company who provided lighting to the venue. They said they didn't know Paul's music.

You can do what I did. Confuse security staff at a GA festival into letting you in 2 hours before the gates open... walk around the site for 2 hours talking on your phone as if you are someone in charge (for example, shout into the phone "What do you mean the porta-johns aren't ready yet?") and then walk up to the stage one minute before gates open and watch the throngs of people flood in behind you.

I definitely think I deserve to be upgraded after all these years. The things I've done for tickets and shows people wouldn't believe.
