I think a realistic hope would be... Save Us Queenie Eye New Everybody Out There I Can Bet Scared
I think we're getting the first 4. But I would love to hear Get Me Out of Here! Road would ROCK!!!!
...Scared probably isn't realistic as it's a hidden track...but so was Freedom!...
For what it's worth: "Freedom" wasn't originally supposed to be on Driving Rain. Its popularity at the Concert For New York City prompted Paul to add it to the album last-minute, following studio overdubs. Plus, it was a single.

I always like to add it here when I've spoken to not huge macca fans about his setlists.... I had a pretty cool conversation this week in my Voice class with someone who isn't exactly the biggest Beatles fan. But we were talking about concerts and whatnot and I mentioned the number of shows I've been for Paul etc. and I mentioned that i don't get tired of the setlist and God Bless her she asks...have you ever heard him do "Let it Be"? ops:

An online buddy compiled a comprehensive list of every song that Paul has performed live since '02, creating an updated setlist -- from just those songs -- and it actually isn't bad at all: Coming Up Save Us Only Mama Knows Driving Rain Listen To What The Man Said Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five Come and Get It Queenie Eye Fine Line Getting Better Let Me Roll It / Foxy Lady All Things Must Pass Calico Skies Here, There and Everywhere Bluebird Hope of Deliverance That Was Me Got To Get You Into My Life Birthday Letting Go Lonely Road Can't Buy Me Love The Night Before The Word / All You Need Is Love Highway She's a Woman You Won't See Me Jet -------(encore 1)------- Everybody Out There Lovely Rita Your Loving Flame House Of Wax -------(encore 2)------- Hi Hi Hi Too Many People / Bathroom Window Junior's Farm Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band / The End

I would do some re-arranging, but the song selection is excellent!

This was my set using the same principle... Good Day Sunshine Save Us Only Mama Knows Flaming Pie You Won't See Me Drive My Car Fine Line House of Wax We Can Work It Out Here There and Everywhere Friends to Go I Will Every Night Calico Skies The Fool on the Hill For No One New Queenie Eye Lovely Rita Mrs Vandebilt Everybody Out There Yesterday Birthday Hi Hi Hi Lonely Road Coming Up Too Many People/Bathroom Window Band on the Run All My Loving Letting Go Please Please Me Can't Buy Me Love I Saw Her Standing There Golden Slumbers Since we were allowed to be picky about the songs I also decided this set is to be played in an intimate venue that holds 2000 people or less. Preferably The Cavern or O2 Academy in Liverpool.
-
I like that one better. I'm glad you specified the venue because I was just having second thoughts about how either of these would hold up in a stadium of first timers hoping he'll play "Let it Be"

I went for a small venue because mine has quite a long chilled out acoustic section!

Since Paul will soon perform 6 times in Japan, he could play the 4 "basic" songs to promote the new album (New / Queenie Eye / Save Us / Everybody Out There) at all concerts, plus 2 different "extra" songs per show. By doing that he would play the whole album live, without having to do it in a single concert.
-
Yes, but then the band would have to learn the whole album...and not even really get to show it...
-
That's what backing-band's are paid for. Elvis Presley's band had to have a working knowledge of about 400 songs, in case Elvis was in the mood for certain impromptu performances.

Yeah, but these guys are more than a backing band...and Paul would also have to learn them up too. Unlike Elvis, Paul is a functioning instrumentalist in his band! :
-
That's because Elvis knew what to do with his hands when he wasn't playing guitar or piano.

Is that a greater skill than Paul's musical talents? I think more people have left Paul's show saying "Damn! Did you hear him shredding with the band on the end medly?" than people leaving Elvis shows saying "Damn! When he flung his left arm into the air on Suspicious Minds my mind was just blown!".......
-
Yes.

Elvis was known for his cool stage moves. It was something that every impersonator tries to emulate. Certain moves became a signature for him

So is that what I should be looking for when buying tickets? I have a feeling the Elton tickets I recently purchased might not fall in the approved category then...

They're similar in the weight-category.
