"Out There" 2013 Setlist Critique and Suggestions

It would be nice if Paul would commit to adding two or three '90s/2K solo-album tracks to every show. Just to shut up folks like me.
Audi! I wanted to tell you, I was chatting with a guy on the metro back from DC about the setlist and we both had very positive things to say. BUT, he brought up the fact that there are NO songs from the 80's/90's and how songs like "Take it Away" and "No More Lonely Nights" have long been ignored...seemed like your kinda conversation!

amazed that others notice there's not much from the last 30 years?

Where's that dude? I wanna hug him.

My suggestion for the setlist is "Cut Me Some Slack" tonight in Seattle!

He should open with it. "Cut Me Some Slack" at the beginning. "Helter Skelter" at the end. Sounds like a winner to me!
-
How about Paul calling Krist up onstage at the beginning of the first encore to join the band on "Day Tripper", then calling Pat up to join them on "Hi Hi Hi", then asking his regular band to leave the stage and calling Dave Grohl up to join Krist and Pat on "Cut Me Some Slack"?
-
I thought that something like that would've happened at Bonnaroo, but, alas...

Actually, I heard them playing it in Indy After they kicked us out of soundcheck. Left the reception room to find the restroom and while in the hallway I heard the band playing something and then Paul singing "mama!". . For some weird reason I did not stay in the hallway to listen.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if it makes the set tonight...but I don't have any desire to hear it...I'm done with "Helter Skelter" too. I know it rocks, but it has become overdone to my concert ears.
-
Long Tall Sally. WOW! The last time was when? 86 Princes Trust?

Seeing as his new album dropped by the time I finally get to see this tour *knock on wood... Which of the current 'Out There' songs I will get deprived of, since he never did a proper EU leg so far? 'My Valentine' surely, but I don't bother about that. Current highlight, but I was at the tour premiere and saw it a few days after that again in 2012. I'm so afraid one of the must-play Wings songs from the first half will get the axe before I get to hear them...
-
He readily dropped Hi Hi Hi for LOng Tall Sally & Cut Me Some Slack. So that will probably be the one.

I doubt it. That was a very special occasion...of course he's going to drop a new song over the encore stalwarts.

He shouldn't though! Hi Hi Hi was THE highlight of the night in Warsaw!

Keeping it in would mean that he would've axed "Get Back," and there's no way that would happen. Plus, everybody knows how to play "Get Back." "Hi Hi Hi" might've required a bit more rehearsal time.

He could have axed a song that they played... oh say 50 years ago!
-
Interesting that Hi Hi Hi was dropped in Seattle, because of the added songs, because he did add 2 songs in Ottawa (Mull & Michelle), but nothing was dropped from the set...

From this interview: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=86983 "I like for us... for the audience mostly... to make it a little bit different, because a lot of people come to see each tour we do [..] so I always think 'what if I came and he's just doing the same show, it might get a bit boring."
