Set List critique

I thought "All Together Now" got a better response at the 2 UK shows I saw than at some of the US shows. Crowd was VERY into it, singing loudly and waving their arms about. I noticed that he has also started introducing it as "for the kids." And I personally love "Another Day" and don't mind if it stays in the set. It's always been one of my favorite Paul songs.

Can't wait to finally hear Michelle live tonight!

I just now checked both amsterdam soundcheck setlists. It's very interessting that there is much more change than I expected till yet. Songs only played 1 time in amsterdam are bold: Soundcheck list from 7th: Matchbox Honey Don't Coming Up All My Loving C'Moon Celebration It's So Easy I'll Follow The Sun On My Way To Work Miss Ann (or something quite similar - I'm not sure!) Ram On Midnight Special Bluebird Lady Madonna Soundcheck list from 8th: Honey don't Blue suede shoes Only Mama Knows Penny Lane Don't Let the Sun Get You Crying Let 'm in Every night Alligator San Francisco Bay Everybody Out There Ukelele song: Leaning on a lamp post Bluebird Lady Madonna It can be summarize that Paul and the Band could create very easy an alternate/rotating setlist. IMO the most interessting fact about that is that there are only 4 Beatles songs on both "setlists" By the way I'm glad booked my soundcheck package for the second amsterdam show because we were only 15 Fans + ~50 local students behind us. My wife and me did absolutly enjoy particularly "Alligator" and "Everybody Out there"

Thank you for posting the soundcheck setlists! I am trying to figure out what song that is...
Don't Let the Sun Get You Crying
It's "Catch" But am happy that you got to hear it! I heard it once and Paul did a lovely version of the song. I am still surprised he did not play this one during the Liverpool soundcheck, tho!
-
Was it this Miss Ann he did at soundcheck?
-
Looks like his set lists are real good this time round, especially
-
Few can scream like I can, at the end and sometimes the middle and the beginning of each song performed live in concert and I'm there Am a very good screamer (and dreamer, LOL)...

Thanks! We got Yellow Submarine, Michelle and 4 songs in the first encore!
-
As somebody suggested earlier ir would have been a genuine surprise had McCartney trotted out Cafe On The Left Bank for the Paris show. If he wanted to go gallic and surprise, that would have been the bees knees.

That's great! The last time I recall Paul doing 4 songs during the first encore was at St. Louis in November 2012: Lady Madonna Birthday Day Tripper Get Back Always nice when they go "off script" a bit!

Paris 2015 is the longest show in McCartney history. 40 songs counting medleys as one. Most other "long shows" are 39. But Paris got 40!

Longest show in history?.....I don't have the "stats" in front of me, but I'm thinking of Quebec 2008 and Liverpool 2011...

If you don't count the Yellow Submarine snippet, the Paris show was one song longer than Liverpool 2011 and three songs longer than Quebec 2008! That surprises me coz Liverpool 2011 felt like a marathon of a gig when I was at it!! I'm still surprised the Liverpool gig on this particular tour was so standard. Him pulling out extra songs for France but not for his hometown is a bit odd compared to the usual pattern.
-
Also the gig made in Liverpool in 2003 was very long! With 40 songs and many surprise like maggie mae and I lost my little girl.

Liverpool '11 had 39 songs. Liverpool '03 had 39 songs. Quebec '08 had 37 songs. Paris '15 had 40... 41 if you count Yellow Submarine!!
-
Did you count The Word/All You Need Is Love, A Day In The Life/Give Peace a Chance as 4 songs?
-
Still digging these live performances of "Temporary Secretary," kiddies. For those fans who remain befuddled by this bold set-list addition: If you can appreciate live versions of Hot Chip's "Over & Over," then Macca and his band blazing through "TS" shouldn't be such a head-scratcher. Still hoping for more surprises in the future.
