They disappeared as usual - the 30 minute rule! I found the post! They were Monkberry Moon Delight, Oh! Darling, Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey, Goodbye, Sally G, Giving Grease A Ride, Helen Wheels, Get On The Right Thing, The Man Who Found God On The Moon and Martha My Dear.
Snowball's chance in hell he'll do any of those!
No chance, I agree.

If he even half attempted Monkberry Moon Delight it had better be the final song of the set.

For sure! He'd either rupture a vocal cord or give himself a hernia!

Perhaps Monkberry Moon Deliight is an easy song for him to do and I Will is the difficult one. Just kidding.
I got a good grin and a laugh inside from the previous few posts. -

I know this will never happen but I would so love it if Paul did a show consisting 100% of his goofiest, wackiest tunes from all eras. Maybe open with You Know My Name Look Up the Number, follow with Morse Moose and the Grey Goose, etc., etc. The casual fans who constitute most of his live audience would be utterly befuddled, but I'd be grinning from ear to ear.
That would be funny and great but I am willing to bet Paul does not even remember he did those songs -lol.
Paul would not remember and the audience would be confused and wondering why they spent tons of money on such tripe!

Somebody posting on FB they'd like to hear at least one of these songs done live by Paul
What songs?

Sadly, I don't think his voice could handle most of them anymore.

Yep, unfortunately true.

Open with Coming Up to get everybody moving.
Drop Here Today for the sake of his voice.
Do People Want Peace from Egypt Station for Ukraine and then have that blend into Give Peace A Chance to salute Lennon and Ukraine.
Two of Us from Let It Be because most of it is harmonized and it doesn't strive for epic high notes like on Blackbird.
Open with Coming Up to get everybody moving.-Aint happening

You are probably correct in that what I tossed out won't fly but I imagine you are like many here that are "looking for changes" in the set list, even if you know it is wishful thinking!
I would bet a fairly substantial bit of money the only changes will be 2-3 songs from "McCartney III" and probably a Beatle song he has not done as a new opener. I understand people posting their "wishlist" for his setlist because I know I have done it many times but once again we know it is not happening.
We're getting close
I'm really hoping for a little change up this tour.
Actually, wishing Sir Paul really embraces his post Beatle catalogue as well. Hoping he can appease himself, rather than strictly predictable big hits.
Also, two nights in Oakland, a lot of attendees would probably be thrilled for two different shows, or least a 30% different song set.
As mentioned earlier in this thread, I hope Sir Paul plays as much of McCartney III as possible. It's a very strong album, new, vital and yet classic.
Long Tailed Winter Bird, The Kiss of Venus, Seize the Day, Slidin', Deep Deep Feelin'.
Perhaps a selection or two from McCartney II ( skip Temporary Secretary - how about Check My Machine which was revisited in 3-2-1 with Rick Rubin and why save Coming Up for the sound check? That would be great in concert. Plus perhaps some McCartney I aside from Maybe I'm Amazed?
Sir Paul played Hope and Deliverance on a sound check by request in such great fashion a few years ago. Plus original band member Wix from that album along with his stellar band to deliver the guitars. Suits his voice well too.
Since Flowers in the Dirt was re-released, nothing from that nor Flaming Pie.
As for Get Back/Let it be, as another poster mentioned dropping Something for perhaps the likes of For You Blue that can still be a fine tribute to George and a little change up to compliment the recent film (plus Sir Paul sang that number at the Concert for George).
A live brass section would be great. Egypt Station still has some stellar tracks that would be a fresh welcome.
Yes, Back in the U.S.S.R. should be omitted. Aside from the obvious, the vintage lyrics mention,"Ukraine Girls" a reference being associated with the former Soviet Republic.
Random toe tappers, Sing the Changes, Ever Present Past, Alligator, Hosanna, Young Boy, My Brave Face, Drive My Car, Come and Get it, Paperback Writer, or just...surprise us!
Just some brain storming thoughts.
-
My guesses for the opening song:
ROCKSHOW
ON MY WAY TO WORK
HELLO, GOODBYE
Also besides omitting BACK IN THE USSR from the show, I hope the bit into LET IT BE changes as well.
-
My guess is that he'll open with something from the Let It Be sessions. "One After 909" would be great, in my opinion.

The obvious choice would be Get Back, which has only occasionally appeared in his set lists.
-
Perhaps he'll sing "Mrs. Vandebilt" and say it's his way of showing support for Ukraine.
-
I've got a feeling that Get Back will be performed in the set given the tour title and the film release.
Mrs. Vandebilt would be a solid.
Now that I think about it, Hope of Deliverance would not only be a gem to hear live, but could also be a nod to Ukraine, given its vintage, when Eastern Europe had an optimistic outlook.
In addition, Sir Paul's great Bass playing on the highly underrated Good Night Tonight, now that would be thrilling to hear as well. It would fit nicely right before an encore/ The End etc. I wonder when was the last time he has played Good Night Tonight live in concert?

Would not be surprised with a "Get Back" opener and him playing "Mrs. Vanderbilt" due to the war in Ukraine. Other than that, I believe he will play three "McCartney III" songs and the most probable ones are "Find My Way", "Slidin" and "Seize The Day". If he wants piano tune from "McCartney III" then maybe he will do "Women And Wives". Other than that, I don't think there will be other changes from last tour.

The last time he played "Goddnight Tonight" in concert was in 1979 with Wings. However he played it recently in London as a "guest performer" with another band.

Wow! I was wondering if if he had play'd it in recent years. Looks like negative regarding tours since 1979. Perhaps it's difficult and taxing for someone even at age thirty to consitently play? Good to know he embraced in recent years as a "guest perfomer". In addition, I could imagine he was trying to go for fresh sounds esp in the 90s + etc, but It sure sounds mighty fine and impressive today.

Thank you NJR.
I was not sure if that was the last tour as well as the first tour for that song to be incorporated. I guess so.
I would have otherwised wagered it snuck in some concerts over the decades.
