Out There Tour Merch
-
I too go to many high and low profile gigs I used Ferry as a direct example of how some artists charge more than others though I accept Paul's prices on t shirts were on par with the UK prices of most artists. I go to see Fleetwood Mac on Friday an artist on par with Paul and I await to see their prices, last time out I found them to be reasonable which shocked me I expected wild prices. The simple truth is this they all charge too much for merch the fact the big artists play arenas make it worse frankly they could charge less if they so chose and still make a fortune but they don't and they rely on fans wanting a souvenir and willing to pay the price for it.

Not only do you pay more for the official merchandise, bit if I want to order any tour merch I have to order it from the US! What's that all about?

Yeah, this happens with a lot of bands, I've been noticing. I was looking to buy an Out There lanyard earlier this year (before the UK dates were announced) and it was costing £40 to send one from the US to the UK. I picked one up at the Liverpool gig, thankfully, for only £10. That's some price difference!

Yeah i've been so pissed for a few years now that both the merch store and the tour store linked on pm.com ship from the states... i held on til the tour hoping the t shirt i liked would be at the UK shows. But it wasn't there! So just ordered it and it comes to £37 for one t shirt, not inc any customs fees i may get stung with You expect (unfortunately) this store to ship from the states, as the prices are in dollars! (I just ordered from here) http://paulmccartney.shop.bravadousa.com/ But when i wrote and checked about this one (and other fans have told me so as well) they admitted that most of what's on this site also ships from the states, even though it shows in pounds, so you have no idea that you may get charged huge customs fees! I have wanted a few things, but wont risk it - esp as the first email from them was nice and helpful, and the 2nd basically said screw you you will have customs fees so deal with it! http://www.fanfire.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/Store.woa/wa/artist?sourceCode=PMCFCMWWGBP&artistName=Paul+McCartney

I have an OUT THERE t shirt in black with O2 23rd May on the back for sale. It was labelled XL but sized wrong! I think it should be a Large. Never worn except when I tried to wear it & realised wrongly sized. Offering it here before I put on EBay. Want what I paid for it £25. Please PM me if interested.

I had never seen such a wide variety of merchandise as at the UK/EU concerts.

Does anyone know when new merch will be listed on the site? And why are shirts from the 2014 leg of the tour as much as 2015 shirts? Cmon Bravado give us a break. If shirts were less we'd buy more. Hoping the new poster for this leg of the tour will be available as well as some of the UK shirts. Is there a place to get the UK merchandise besides bravado? Thanks!

I would like to see pictures of the merchandise table from the recent concerts. Apparently the items were not very impressive, but I'm curious. I know there were posters with an image of Paul singing into a microphone and the show dates/venues, those were nice.

I didn't see half the merchandise I thought I would see in Detroit. The small poster is nice.I got that. The shirts with the tour dates were updated with the last 5 shows. No specific city t shirts like they had for the summer shows. That was a disapointment. I guess I'll buy all the shirts I want on "Cyber Monday", like last year when they were on sale !

Merchandise!!! Merchandise!!! Merchandise!!! All rubbish.

A t-shirt and/or a program. All ya need. Bang. Done!
-
I got my standard t-shirt & keychain combo this summer plus, the new maroon and black mini-towel they were selling. It was unique and I don't have anything quite like it so I went for it! Looking at it on my wall right now!

Unless there's a cool poster/litho for that specific show. Got one from Candlestick that's hanging on my wall that's pretty sweet looking:

Nice contemporary image too...ahem. You're right, it is nice though.

Hey Sgt. I'm reminded of a fantastic evening there. Worth it just to hear Long Tall Sally alone. I thought Dodger Stadium was a bit meh compared to many other great shows but Candlestick was the growl!

I just wish that shirt sizes were a little realistic to other t-shirts sold in America..... A Large at the show is more like a medium anywhere else...

I know. I had to buy a 2X at the Detroit show to get a shirt that would fit. Plus those were $5 more per shirt. Still, I bought 2 shirts because I liked the designs, but was disappointed that there were no hats for sale. Had to order that from the web store, because I needed one for a Christmas present.
