Emerging: Sir Paul McCartney's wife Nancy Shevell looked casual in a £450 Beatles sweatshirt by her stepdaughter Stella as she enjoyed a stroll with the singer through London last Tuesday

Seriously?  Stella may be a great designer, but this sweatshirt?  That's outrageous, both the "design" and especially the price. Maybe $50 AT MOST!

@beatles4ever Hard to read what is says on the sleeves but I like the color scheme. Of course, it is not worth 450 pounds but everything Stella designs including women's tennis dresses are expensive. IMO, that should cost $75-100 at most.

@oobu24 I really like this sweatshirt, oobu, and it's pretty safe to say I'll never buy one. C'est la vie!

@liketolaugh And this just one example of why, in my entire life, I have never bought "designer", ANYTHING, and I never will. The ONLY difference between a designer t shirt, and a normal t shirt, is the name. Also, I think designer t shirts look, at worst, crap, and at best ordinary. Give me a Beatles t shirt every time.

                    Q. Why do hairdressers get to their destination before everybody else.
                    A. They know short cuts.

Agree! The prices for designer clothes are ridiculously outrageous!
As far as “brand name” clothes are concerned, the only thing I’ve splurged on is Van’s shoes. I have slip-ons in black (I’m on my 2nd pair with a brand new pair sitting in my closet - I think I got a buy one, get one 50% off or something - they normally cost about $65) medium blue and white. I also have the Yellow Submarine hi-tops I’ve only worn a couple times. (far left in photo)

@fan4-45years I personally only wear Beatles T shirts. And an Abbey Road wristband on my left wrist, and an Iron maiden wristband on my right wrist. I wear nothing else to do with band names. No tattoos!! I think tattoos are horrible!! And the worst thing of all is they are permanent. No Beatles jewellery. Watches etc. I must add here. Very important. I am just talking about MYSELF. I defend, to the death, anybody else who wants Beatles tattoos, on their skin. Or to walk around like a human memorabilia store. Covered head to toe in Beatles everything. I say, GO FOR IT!!😃😄✌️
