Nancy R:
My DirecTV guide shows on Jan. 30th at 8 pm on CNN is Anderson Cooper and I understand Louise Harrison will be on. Then at 9 pm and again at 10 pm is the British Invasion program. I assume it is the same show, just repeated, but will DVR both just in case. They are both repeated later in the evening (after 11 pm)
Thanks!!

It's cool that Feb 9th falls on a Sunday, just as it did in '64! What they have planned sounds great. Love that they will show the "Penny Lane" and "Strawberry Fields Forever" promo films. They were quite advanced for the time. It was sort of like the Beatles invented MTV! And I like that they will start with a video of them performing "All My Loving" and then abruptly stop the video and show Maroon Five completing the song!!! I am concerned, however, that the Winter Olympics will be on TV by then, and most people will be tuned into that, depending on what's scheduled for that particular day. Safe to say they (The Beatles) won't get 73 million + viewers this time! I read that Paul only decided to participate in all of this sometime this month...he was concerned that it would be unseemly to be "celebrating" himself in that manner....until someone convinced him of the immense importance of the group appearing on Ed Sullivan in the first place!! (I sort of think he already knew that!!!
) Anyway, should be great!!!!
