Looks like June and August will be empty months.
Meaning May and July wont be empty...?

I hope the relatively poor sales of FITD don't put them off releasing any more on the archive series. Realistically, a reissue of an album is rarely going to set the charts alight (unless its something major for an anniversary with a lot of promo, like the upcoming Sgt Peppers ), but I think its important to release them nonetheless - it keeps Paul's name out there and his music deserves to be presented nicely, as it is in these sets. Also, from the point of view of someone with minor OCD, what a shame it would be to stall here and not have the whole set! I think it would be a travesty to give up on it.

Ahhhhh... can always count on our friend Bob Gannon to stir the pot, and thankfully he does this for us. It sure is a hell of a lot of fun... But remember that he must walk the fine line between telling what he knows and not betraying the confidence of those who tell him...
Not only to walk that line but here on the artist's board, to always be respectful of what can be said. But if at the very least, I like people to know that good things are coming. And you all know that when I say something is coming......IT DOES!
Excited!!!
The Cavern Club Beatles are fantastic. Getting to watch them in the club itself is really special - I'd go and see them every weekend if I could!

Things could always change but from last I heard, chances may be dimming on summer .
Dimming in terms of US shows, or shows in general?
In general
I see... Could mean the album is due for release in summer, which is kind of what I expected. Hopefully with a continuation of the tour afterwards to support it. At least that'll give me more time to save! Presuming he comes to the UK that is Thanks Bob!

"Paul McCartney has kindly shifted some gigs to allow Wix to gather a band for us in May" Suggesting that there were originally going to be gigs in May? shifted to when? So many questions, so few answers
I'm getting sweaty palms waiting for an announcement over here! I hope he puts us out of our misery soon. Will we get some UK dates this year do you think?!
I would love to see Paul live in Liverpool, so I'm keeping everything crossed that he'll add some UK dates!
Well that was an interesting series of answers. Interesting in that they didn't actually resolve anything and just confused me even more. I think they're seriously overthinking the situation and I get the feeling they don't know who they're marketing to anymore. I admire Paul for being forward thinking and wanting to keep up to date and modern, but this streaming thing is bizarre. The people who are willing to spend the best part of ?150 on a set of 4 cds are not the people who are arsed about streaming/downloading. Why try to force people into that!? I couldn't have afforded the set anyway, but this would certainly put me off.

That's a hard question considering that I love everything The Beatles ever recorded!
Same here!

I'm surprised he's not going to do at least one UK gig before Xmas. The Liverpool Arena is talking of the announcement tomorrow of a Golden Gig. Maybe?
ooh...I wonder would he announce a pre-Xmas gig at such short notice? not that he'd have any problem selling it out!
I realise my choices are maybe not the "best of"' where the masses are concerned, but from a purely selfish point of view, that's what I'd want to hear
Bass/electric; Old Siam Sir My Brave Face The World Tonight Coming up Acoustic; Junk Put it There Tug of War Young Boy Piano; Dear Friend 1985 Waterfalls Wanderlust But that's just how I feel today, ask me again tomorrow and they'll probably change!
Paul is the one cuddled under his dad's arm - 100% certain!
You dance With your lizard leather boots on And pull the strings That change the faces of men You diamond browed hag You're a glitter-gaunt gangster John Lennon knows your name And I've seen his Ballrooms of Mars - T.Rex
LMAO! That would be an interesting exercise
I'm still hoping for some UK dates this tour, but not looking likely now. To those of you au fait with his chaotic touring schedules, do you think he'll skip the UK altogether? Has he ever done that before?
Has Paul ever missed out the UK on a tour before?? I'm really praying I get to see him this time as I've never seen him live before! I suppose he does have the whole of the autumn and winter to fit us in, but I'm still panicking
I'm dying here waiting for UK show announcements. I don't know what ill do if he doesn't come here!! I cant afford to travel to European shows. Has he ever missed out the UK on a tour before?
