RE: I miss
Sometimes I miss my walkman. Still have it. I might give a few of my old cassettes a listen again.
-
RE: Concerts.
I'm seeing Lit in a couple of weeks. I also got my ticket to see The Stranglers.
-
RE: What are you reading now?
I've been on a bit of a roll - read about 16 books by Andrea Camilleri over the past couple of months.

RE: Concerts.
Next up for me, I'm going to see Lit play 'A place in the sun'. Should be good. 90s nostalgia.

RE: Billy Joel Concerts
I'm not really a fan of a number of his pop songs/singles; there's so much more to discover on the albums that most casual listeners may not know. I like when he puts on his blues or jazz hat, or even just rocks out. Nice ballads too.

Going to see Billy tomorrow night!
The setlist is pretty excellent! I won't spoil it. But there are some VERY deep cuts. I really hope he tours this show in the states next year.
Can't wait, I have to admit I want the show to be everything we moan about at Paul shows...hits hits hits!
If you haven't listened to it in its entirety, I recommend purchasing "The Nylon Curtain" album...a surprisingly large amount from an album that has been overlooked by most of his career...until now.
Absolutely. Probably my favourite of his albums. The Hammersmith Show was amazing. If anyone is interested, check out my review here - http://musicwritingsportslife.blogspot.co.uk/ What was everyone's highlight?

RE: Wedding Anniversary Cake for Paul.. from Korean fans!
That is adorable. Thanks for sharing.

RE: So...What's the Good News?
I just got promoted at work. That counts as good news, right?

RE: Concerts.
I also saw Roger Waters/The Wall last Saturday at Wembley. What a stunning show and performance.

RE: Sir Elton John Thread
I saw Elton live in 2005 and he put on a great show. I just reviewed his new album for my blog today, and must say I think it is very strong. I like the fact that it's piano-driven and the stripped-back feel brings the lyrics to the foreground. My highlight is 'My Quicksand'.

RE: Log-in, cookies, bookmarks, saved passwords, toolbars etc
Martin, I was going to ask something about the 'log me in automatically' feature as well - so does it not work at all at present? As I've tried ticking it but when I come back to the site, I keep having to log in manually. Cheers.

RE: Germanien, Helvetien, Noricum
Danke. Tja, ich hab Paul zum ersten Mal vor ca. 3 Jahren auch endlich live erlebt. War echt super. Mal sehen ob sich das nochmal ergibt.

I have passed my Open University exams. I'm studying Health Sciences, for career progression and all that. Will be glad to get to my last module and get my certification next spring.
Well done, Vanessa! Congratulations!
Thanks, Liz. How are you? Long time no speak.

RE: Paul's upcoming album review they say its HOT!
Sounds promising. Is there an anticipated release date for it though? Haven't been around for a while or followed much of what's happening in Macca-land.
