yes. The map is up now on Event Travel's site - looks like Standing Pit, Standing GA, then seats:

Has anyone information about the Hot Ticket STANDING Package? That's the first time I hear about it.
Do they deliver the Hot Ticket Packages at home? I'm moving out, so I'm not sure which home address to include.
Looks like there is a standing pit in front of the stage for this show. Here's info on the VIP packages:
https://www.eventtravel.com/paul-mccartney-hotsound-standing-naples
Normally they give you the merchandise items at the concert when you buy the soundcheck packages.
What about this one? It doesn't include soundcheck, so do you think it will be just a general admission with an early entry? https://www.eventtravel.com/paul-mccartney-hotticket-standing-naples
Seems to be. Which would mean they would probably send the merchandise to you--maybe with your ticket. In the past when I have used Event Travel for seated VIP tickets, they have sent them out via overnight courier very close to the show date (because they were late getting their seating allotment). So you would have to make sure you give them a good address where it can be signed for.

With Glastonbury now being confirmed. I wonder if there'll be more UK dates or if it'll be like 2004 when it was his only UK date. I'd imagine we'll be getting more European dates announced this week, I'll probably go to Paris as it'll actually be easier/quicker for me than getting to Glastonbury & it'll be worth it just to hear Michelle
2 hours ago they posted "Paul is back... #FreshenUpTour" on his Facebook page. I don't personally consider Glasto to be part of the tour, altho maybe he does. But maybe the shows in France are being announced soon. Or.....?!

Very hot in France today.
I hope Maccaclub's rumor will become an information soon.
The stade Pierre Mauroy is 3 km from my home.
But keep in mind that both French gigs in 2015 (Stade de France and Marseille's stadium) weren't sold out so I would be surprised that Paul could plan 4 gigs in stadiums in France.
It does seem like a lot of stadium shows. Maybe they are deciding which of the other cities to play besides Paris.

Been a long bit since I've been on the forum. I don't even check much anymore since the format change.
if/when he announces 2020 shows, I strongly suggest to find a show that is doable and go. Hope to see you all out there. A bit of friendly advice
i will not be fielding inquiries
Uh oh. Something about your post makes me a bit worried, but I can't put my finger on why, lol.
Sounds like Bob thinks that 2020 will be Paul's last tour. I'll believe it if/when Paul says it is.
I think it's more like he's suggesting that when the date announcements begin, if you really want to see Paul, then just choose an announced show. Don't wait/hope that he is going to announce more shows and come to your city. Because he may not. We all assumed there would be a fall leg this year, but Paul finished in July and that was that.
Start saving now so you can travel to a show!

Nice long interview with Paul tonight - it's worth a watch.
Also, did anyone notice Stephen's house band playing Getting Closer and Hot As Sun before/after the commercial breaks?
YES! That was great!
also Yes! I was impressed that the bandleader went more obscure instead of obvious/Beatles.
Enjoyed the interview. No matter who is interviewing him, Paul is always going to get some of those obvious questions, but Colbert tossed him a couple that made him think. I loved hearing the "sneaking into the movie theatre" story and seeing that he has that picture of his grandkids on his phone case.

I think this is who Leslie was talking about. She’s also on FB and Twitter.
Sadly, she doesn't update it any more, but most of Jorie's great Paul photos are on her Macca Report page, along with detailed reports of concerts, set lists, etc.:
https://themaccareport.com/news/report.htm
I do think Paul will continue to tour in 2020, and not just a show at Glastonbury. I have no specific sources, just a hunch based on his recent touring history.

one last post then i need to get to bed Zzzzz but that bloke who always filmes everything Paul does, he usually wears a hat - anyone at a gig/souncheck/event would know who i mean. Does that footage EVER get used on anything?! Cos i know he was filming us today when Paul sang Queenie Eye to my son, but don't hold out any hope of ever seeing it as most of teh stuff i've seen him film at any event never gets used... or does anyone know of a secret paul site i'm missing out on?!?!
(If you can't tell i'm happy happy but desperately hoping to find a picture or anything as proof to my memory that we met him, to get past the fact i didn't shake his hand doh!)
that's Charlie, and all the stuff he films is for Paul. I've seen some of the concert footage turn up in those little promo films they do for Paul's tours (like the TV ads or the short promos on YouTube) but the rest of it is all in Paul's vaults somewhere, I reckon.
And congrats to you and your son and sister for being at the event, that's wonderful for you all!

and yes, "kecks" are pants, and from what I can see in Gordy's picture, he signed the books for everyone, right there, altho of course he can confirm for us!

“Great set of kecks man”- Paul McCartney!! He actually said that to me!! We spoke about the Cavern Club show, he asked where I came from & ended it with a “lovely to meet you man”
That's great! So happy for you!
My friends who were in the queue have met him but I have no other details. Our boardie Gordy was apparently first in the queue according to his Twitter feed, so he should also be done and is perhaps still somewhere on Cloud 9.

I can see it & I'm not on IG. Must be an i pad thing again.
can't see it on a PC; it's asking me to log in (I don't have an IG acct either).
We should probably start the 2020 rumours thread since Paul has mentioned today on the radio that he may do Glastonbury next year.

Can't believe it's so soon! I'm actually really nervous now, like what if I say the wrong thing & he doesn't like me for it? Overthinking, I know!
Any boardies keen to meet up? I'll be about all day so if any of you are it'll be nice to meet some of you
Remember he is used to people being nervous when meeting him and he does have a way of putting you at ease, even in a very quick encouter. If I was there, I'd probably try to thank him for doing the signing and say something about the book and that would be about as coherent as I'd manage before babbling out something silly.
You will be fine! I'm excited for everyone who will be there and can't wait to hear all of the stories! I hope Waterstones does a good job of keeping things moving and organized so that everyone who's in the queue gets their chance to meet Paul.

I think you are correct that it was an improvised song. It was likely never recorded.
She must have forgot to add the link. I found setlists too but not for the soundcheck.
I did! So sorry! it's been one of those days. Here's the link
https://www.the-paulmccartney-project.com/concert/2008-09-25/

Anyone could walk past and hear the soundcheck when he played Park HaYarkon in 2008. It was impossible to see anything, but the music soared over the park. Between "Drive My Car" and "Let Me Roll It" they played one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. They did not play it during the concert and I have never heard it since. I would buy a soundcheck CD for this song alone.
Hi! And welcome to the Macca board! I bet the song you are thinking of is Celebration.
Thank you. Unfortunately, that is not the song. I have spent years searching bootlegs and b-sides and have yet to hear it.
Have you looked for the list of songs for that soundcheck? It must be printed somewhere.
There's a setlist here (scroll down a bit); it doesn't list Drive My Car, but there are two jams listed before and after Celebration. It's possible that one of these jams is the song you are looking for, in which case it won't exist anywhere else because those are always just impromptu things he does at soundcheck. You would need to find a bootleg of this soundcheck to be sure.

Yeah that's what they said, I'm planning on just being the proximity of it but not queue until it opens.
As will most everyone else, probably! I reckon if there are any coffee shops in the area, they will be full of people just waiting for the queue time.
