Well, typically soundcheck contains tracks that are NOT in the show, so we can probably rule out "Women and Wives" from the set. It's for the best. I can't picture that going over well in an arena, let alone a stadium while it's still light out. All in all though...a rather "blah" soundcheck list...

RE: Set List critique
Alright, I'm getting (unnecessarily) hyped up for tomorrow night, considering I'm on the opposite coast of the tour! Here's a dream list I just made up, thinking of the "formula" he's used for the past fourteen years. Very few of these songs have never been played live yet, I feel like this would make everyone pretty happy. If we even got halfway close to this, I'd be over the moon...
- I Want To Hold Your Hand
- She Loves You
- Come on To Me
- Who Cares
- She’s a Woman
- One After 909
- I’ve Got a Feeling
- Let Me Roll it
- Let Em In
- C Moon
- Find My Way
- My Love
- In Spite of All The Danger
- Love Me Do
- From Me To You
- Things We Said Today
- Two of Us
- I’ll Follow The Sun
- Blackbird
- Here Today
- Something
- Seize The Day
- Fixing a Hole
- Lady Madonna
- Good Day Sunshine
- Penny Lane
- Band on The Run
- Live and Let Die
- Let it Be
- Hey Jude
ENCORE - Get Back
- Golden Slumbers
- Carry That Weight
- The End

'Coming Up' is also one I would like to hear Paul do live, not sure when he actually last played it in a live set. Recently watched via youtube his Medley of Yesterday/Here there and Everywhere and Wanderlust from GMRTBS with some help from Ringo which just showed the quality of his voice circa 1984 .
The last time I remember him playing "Coming Up" live was on the "David Letterman" show when he played on the rooftop of the "Ed Sullivan" theater in NYC, I think that was in 2010. See clip.
Yes, that was was days before the Citi Field performances in '09, my first Macca show, I thought for sure he'd play it there! Looking back through the archives...it appears the last non-Soundcheck performance was in May of 2011 on the Up and Coming Tour in South America.

RE: Set List critique
I know it has been played a ton in the past, but I'd LOVE to hear "Coming Up" as I have never heard it live! Feeling pretty optimistic about hearing it finally at soundcheck this summer as I know it tends to pop up there a bit more!

What row seats did you get?!
Row 7! I just went back to look again, and all the AMEX Sound Check seats are long gone! Happy to have what I do!

I am ECSTATIC to have just scored a Hot Sound Package for Row D Seats 7-8! This is my first sound check experience and I cannot WAIT to live it up in the FOURTH ROW at this show! I can't believe this is all happening! I've needed nothing more after the past two years than this!
Thank You, Paul!
Yay! Those are dead center seats and you will love them! (I am assuming you got in Sec. 2, the middle section?)
I'm glad you asked because I just realized I misread a little bit! We're not Row D (the rows are numbered, no letters) the Section is D (the center section) Row 7, Seats 7-8

^^ Wix! YAY! Glad you got the soundcheck tix! You'll love it.
Thanks! It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to have him right here at home. Normally we couldn't even consider affording this with travel/lodging to account for. Plus, my Grandmother is nearly the same age as Paul and realistically, probably doesn't have many more stadium shows left in her, if any, after this...

That's awesome! We weren't doing VIP, but I'm thrilled to have snagged seats, given how random the process was for regular seats. We were hoping for floor seats, but nothing good was coming up. We have Section 8, row 24, seats 1-2. I've been very lucky to have seen Paul with floor seats 4 times, and at this point, I am thrilled to have seats that will give me a terrific view (I'm short, so I have to be careful about floor seats).
Nice job! Those will be fantastic! There won't be many seats left for long!

So for the Baltimore show you will have to purchase the tickets through MLB.com? You can't use ticketmaster?? Just wondering.
Purchase here: Paul McCartney Concert at Camden Yards | Music | Tickets | Baltimore Orioles (mlb.com)
Tickets will be accessed through the My MLB Parks APP.

WIX, I called Orioles Park (Baltimore). The links shown above will go live tomorrow at the appropriate times. They only use digital tickets and thus one needs to use the MLB Ballpark app to access your tickets. I worried if I can't go for some reason my friend will not be able to go without my cell phone (we live in very different states). The kind gentleman told me that if I'm comfortable sharing my log in information with my friend that would be a solution, if needed.
Thanks so much! WOW - only digital tickets?!? I wonder how that carries over to the VIP Packages. I don't have a smart phone, though the 3G network my phone exists on is being terminated at the end of 2022, so perhaps this is going to be the time to make that leap! I assume I can purchase them on my computer tomorrow without having an account with this APP?
You will probably have to have the app on your computer/laptop. I use a 15" iPad - no way would I try to order tickets on a cellphone!
P.S. You still haven't responded to my PM. There should be a red circle with a white #1 in it on top of the little envelope icon at top right.
As I was getting ready for bed, a little voice in the back of my head kept saying to check out that App before tomorrow morning. I don't really know what to expect but I'm going to be at work doing this, and would hate to miss tickets over a stupid app. So thankfully my wife has come to the rescue, we've downloaded the app to her tablet that I'll take with me as back-up, and I've made an account on the tablet.
I just can't wrap my head around how "virtual ticketing" is a viable solution in the longrun. There are so many "what-ifs". FOlks like myself not having smartphones will eventually sort itself out, but what about loss of wifi to present the tickets? What if you drop your phone when you're getting the ticket scanned and they can't scan the screen? These devices are so sensitive and have so many layers of dependence on other factors...it's really making me kind of anxious thinking about spending thousands of dollars on two soundcheck tickets that I'm never going to touch...they'll just hover about in a cloud and hopefully appear when I need them to!...
...anyway, rant over. NJR- I replied to your message a few days ago. I just copy and pasted it as a new message to see if that worked. I don't think I've sent a message on here since 2017!

3G is ending here tomorrow for ATT. I wonder what people will do?
Hey OOBU! Nice to "see" ya! I'm with Verizon and they stated 1/1/23 as the cut-off here. I had a similar issue buying tickets for Robert Plant & Alison Krauss (ironically enough, the night before Paul will be here!) However, after calling the venue, they said if I came to their box office they could go around Ticketmaster and print them for me (also eliminating TM's extra fees!) If we go with a Soundcheck Package for Camden Yards though, perhaps instructions will be different anyhow? I've only ever done a Soundcheck Package for The Beach Boys' 50th Anniversary tour and we didn't even have "real" tickets with that. We had all kinds of email print-offs and special instructions etc.

RE: Paul Mccartney 2022 - rumours
I really doubt Baltimore will receive a second night. It's also getting very close to overlapping with Ringo's concerts at The Lyric Opera House about 10 minutes from Camden Yards on June 14th/15th... have the two ever played the same city on the same night? Very strange.

RE: Paul Mccartney 2022 - rumours
Has anyone else attempting the Baltimore show actually found where the tickets are being sold?
It is the ONLY show not currently listed on Ticketmaster. There is no information or links on Paul's website, Camden Yards' website etc. All of the onsale times/dates details are readily available, but no info on where to actually complete the transaction. I'm wondering if the venue is just handling the ticket sales directly. This is still a very new thing for Camden Yards and I believe this was the case when Billy Joel played our first show at the stadium three years ago.

RE: Set List critique
I don't see "Women and Wives" holding up in a Stadium show. We joke about it, Paul jokes about it, but that will truly cause a mass exodus to bathrooms and concessions. I don't think we've heard the last of "Egypt Station" tracks, though maybe less of them. In 2019, Paul was still playing assortments of "New", "Queenie Eye", and even "Dance Tonight"! I suspect "Come on To Me" will likely stick around. I'd like to hear "Who Cares", never really cared for "Fuh You"...
Yes, this is the time to reinvent however, nothing about this feels like reinvention. This feels exactly like picking up where we left off. "Get Back" to what we did before! While it is not a sustainable choice, I'll take it. As Paul ages into his 80's, the day will come when stadium shows are a distant memory.
