AMAZING PICTURES! Great photography and camera. What kind of camera do you have? I need to upgrade before Tulsa. Or send me yours and I'll send it back!
The embedded EXIF data for these images report the camera used was an: http://www.flickr.com/cameras/canon/eos_5d_mark_iii Got a spare $3,000 - $4,000? Martin
And it's a DSLR so they won't let it in. They'd take it away! Nice camera though.

He definitely did not hit every note. Maybe I'm Amazed, his voice was particularly rough. And I'm not the biggest critic of his live voice. But MIA was difficult to defend. It seemed like halfway thru the song, they lowered his mic volume and buried it in the mix, so it wasnt so obvious. Also he had trouble holding certain longer notes. The long harmonized Paperback Writer parts, he fell out early... And he had a couple other bad cracks here and there..... like on "Bra!' in Obladi.... I'm sure there were other examples, but those stood out for me.... But in the overall big picture, he's still doing okay. A lot of other songs I was worried about, he nailed without any problems.
I think you're being over critical. The guy is 71. My point is, that, over the last few years, he's sounded pretty bad at times. The Olympic Games, the UK X Factor being examples. My one worry last night, is that we would be seeing a jaded, faded Paul who, vocally, is a shadow of his former self. This wasn't the case. In comparison to the examples above, and the last time I saw him in 1993 - his voice was stronger, more powerful and controlled. I also noticed, his speaking voice - which has always sounded so rough and croaky over the last few years was back to sounding more youthful. Stand outs for me were Let It Be and his acoustic set. When he did his usual encore of Yesterday, he sounded much like he did in Blackpool circa 1965. Even though he may have cracked on MIA (which is THE most tricky song to sing at 70/71, my point is that I felt the top end sweetness seemed to be back. Now, we saw him early in the tour, so whether this will continue who knows. I'm just pleased however, that we saw Paul at his older age best. It was a fine show, and the only two songs I thought didn't work totally were LTWTMS and Day Tripper.

I agree! What was on your sign?
It said, "Peradventure an autograph?" It had red flashing lights so he picked up on it during soundcheck and during the show right after the first encore it wasn't loud, but loud enough for me to hear him say, "Oh! Peradventure!"
I remember that sign, the lights made it really stand out

I love how you put that. All we can hope, with Paul about to turn 71, is to see him "at his older age best."

His voice is not stronger than in 93. As you say, it is GREAT for his age now, but that is jut not realistic. I saw Paul in 2002 and 2009 and he sounded fine, but to think he sounded better than in 89 or 93 is just not true. Not to my ears. Also, I saw him in 76 and he sounded a lot better in 76 then in 89 or 93. Makes sense. I think it is testament to the man's talent and ability that he gets on stage at 71 years of age and does a pretty damn good job for an older man. But he is not at his vocal peak by any stretch.

I believe two songs switched positions in the setlist (BOTR being one of them), but exact same songs.

Out of interest, the song used by most people for a drinks/bathroom break was Mrs. Vandebilt

I love that song!! I could never leave during a Wings song. It would be hard to choose to leave for any of them....just hope I can hold it!

It's funny, for some reason I also noted that at previous gigs!

My what a BEAUTIFUL dress and such a lovely photo. Nice to also see some of the merch in the background. Anyone know what the black shirt ABOVE the yellow Wings shirt (BTW, WOW, a Wings shirt!!!) is? It looks like a black shirt with a graphic of 4 polaroid type photos arranged in a square. Could it be polaroids taken from the Band on the Run poster? Looks cool from what I can make out.

A very enjoyable show. My favorite show? No. But still memorable. The bad: Vocals on Maybe I'm Amazed. Oof. Really, really rough. The huge gap caused by the platform. It is as bad as everyone feared, and then some. More distracting than the huge gap, were huge camera cranes on both sides of the stage.... constantly flying around and blocking us. (i can only guess the show was being filmed, because nothing from those camera was being projected up on the onstage screens...) The good: Most of the setlist additions for this tour, I found quite pleasing. I didnt play any new samples in advance, so these were fresh to me. I actually liked the new version of LTWTMS. And one of my favorite moments was All Together Now, a song that most people on this site have criticized, but I thought it was a cool moment in the show. And Mr. Kite sounded really great, despite it being played for seemingly no reason. I was surprised he kept Hope Of Deliverance in, for the US. I really expected him to drop it, but I was wrong. I am hoping for maybe a couple of song swaps tomorrow, since he is known to do that for multi-night stands in the same city.
The last Paul concert I went to was in 2005 and when the band came on, they even announced they were all just getting over the flu. Joe Robbie Stadium was HUGE and unfortunately we had nosebleed seats but I felt bad because Paul's voice did not sound good at all. His talking voice was also very hoarse and I've noticed that for a long time now. I thought last night Orlando concert was just SO GOOD in every way. Paul's voice sounded fantastic for any age, he was just so good when he was younger, it's not fair to compare a 20 year olds voice with a 70 year olds voice. He sounded brilliant and I have not one complaint on any of the songs he did, his speaking voice also sounded pretty smooth, my son, who is a teenager and grew up listening to the Beatles said immediately, wow, he sounds great live. Out of the mouths of babes. Anyway, no complaints here, MAGICAL concert!!!! YAY PAUL!

I wanted to shoot the people two seats over from me on my row. They each got up at least SIX TIMES EACH. And leaving and coming back. It was a ridiculous distraction and really. If you have to keep getting up and getting a beer, maybe you should have stayed on your couch at home and gotten one from your fridge. : Some of us didn't want to have to keep breaking focus to let them by, the woman beside me was equally irritated.

That's what happens at concerts nowadays. Or lighting up cigarettes like that's OK. Or people talking throughout the concert. Like I can pay $200 to go see a living legend in concert and talk. I had to tell people to shut up at The Joint. The rudeness towards other people at these events nowadays blows me away!

I bet a lot of those tickets are comped too. So people don't really care who the heck is playing.

Some are. Some are VIP ticket holders (a few of which who went to soundcheck, got loaded, and are now idiots at the actual concert), some are MPL VIP folks who pay the $270 floor seat price for seats in the first 10 rows (but don't get the soundcheck experience). It ranges.

Sooooooo, any changes on today's setlist?
