Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors

5th-beatle:
That sounds bitter. When he was constantly touring EU/UK/US between April 2002 and August 2010 I never thought "I hope he will skip those places". Instead, I always thought "I hope he will add Brazil to the list", which he did. So I know how fans in those countries feel: that's how I felt from 1993 to 2010. Good luck next year, anyway.
I Agree 200% with my friend Carlos, even though he didn't upload our pic together as he promised
Kimsey:
I travelled to both Verona and Vienna.
So what's the bitching about? You saw the Out There show twice. Now hopefully a new tour will begin and we'll all see him again.

that's not quite right. Should there is a new tour + new setlist and concerts in EU during 2015... it's possible that we didn't get the 4 NEW songs. That would be a pitty. The three EU concerts last years were during the leg before NEW was published!
-
A new tour? When I will be robbed from 'Your Mother Should Know', 'Listen To What The Man Said' and 'Hi Hi Hi' - because that will happen with a "new tour", 5 goodies out, old Beatles songs in - after having to sit through 'I've Got A Feeling' and 'Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da' 7 times in the 6 countries I visited him in when he still toured outside 1 or 2 territories, I'm not sure whether I will be visiting any gig outside Albuque... I mean The Netherlands any longer.

That's correct, but I have a feeling "New" and "Queenie Eye" will remain in the setlist for a bit longer, as "Dance Tonight" did.

If he comes to Albuquerque, I'll buy your concert ticket to see him here!

I thought the Japanese shows in the Spring were still to be "Out There". I highly doubt we're getting a new tour in 2015, regardless.

I tend to agree. Also, with his touring methodology, ie playing every year, I don't see how a "world tour" in 2015 really means anything. Or what it exactly means.

I think it simply means places that don't have "America" attached to them in anyway whatsoever. I know...how.....American, of them

Ah, ok. A world tour that doesn't include North America or South America! Got it!

Off topic...but watching The PETA concert from 99... Just afer Try Not To Cry and before Lonesome Town, Paul grabs a cup and has a good swig of (presumably) water. RARE TO SEE!

That Roundhouse digital release is through BBC, probably some old license from 2007. Available in HD since the original broadcast. On an interesting note, the always overly diplomatic band members had some pretty striking comments on this show: "NOT our favorite show... I wish they'd pull it!" (
)Nor mine. Surprised it is available. Sub par McCartney. His voice is not at all good at this gig. I've had the boot for many years and literally watched it just once! Gimme Tokyo 13, Quebec 08 or St Petersburg 04. These are the ones I spin most.
I would add The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Vegas 2009. There's an amazing quality audio boot of that, and it's a great performance!
Ah might you PM me? I was there in 09 with a buddy. I'd love a nice souvenir of that...
Me too!

If you buy me a Front Row package, I'll fly to Albuquerque to see the show with you, Mr. Martinez!

It pains me to say this but I don't like the new song.

I assume that moptops's point is that Paul never drinks anything during his shows usually. (In my days in coffeehouses, I found that even water had the potential to make me want to belch in the middle of singing!) So are we now talking about the tour continuing as "OUT THERE"? I thought it was officially over.

It's not over till the boss says so. Or until we hear a new name for the tour. And even then...well...you know.

I know. And I was joking! Because it really was off topic! My understanding is OUT THERE is over. From articles and comments made by band members and Paul himself. Yeah, belching in the middle of a song can be a problem. Also, if you do a near 3 hour show with no break, need a bathroom break can be a problem too!

Are you implying the tour name changes but the set list remains the same?
