Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors

Paul ticket sales stress me out so badly.
Me too!!! And I have to trust my husband to do it, since it'll almost definitely be at a time when I'll be in class.
-
I'm the one who does it - my mother-in-law and I are Paul concert buddies, and I know she would be way too nervous to do it.

Is there usually a presale or are tickets available as soon as the show is announced?

There's usually a website presale and an Amex presale not long after the show is announced. Then there's the general public sale. People here are great about helping people out with getting ready for the presales and providing emotional/spiritual/psychological support during them.

Last time he played Philly the first night sold out before we even got in, luckily night two was added....this will be interesting. If the announcement is tomorrow, I would assume presales to be Monday and regular sale Wednesday (maybe Friday)

Thanks! That makes sense. Let's hope we either have some good luck this time around, or he adds a second night.

I'll need all the good luck I can get.....I've got tickets to see John Fogerty here in Baltimore on June 22nd....

Sgt._Pepper:
forget 64:
What Arena, or Stadium in Charlottesville and or South Carolina is most likely if it happens?
In Charlottesville, it would be Scott Stadium. The Stones, U2, and the Dave Matthews Band have played there. In Columbia, probably Williams-Brice Stadium. It's the stadium Paul played at in '93.
Springsteen has played John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville.

I'm leaning towards Paul playing at the JPJ Arena in Charlottesville. Big names such as Fleetwood Mac, Lady Gaga, Springstein (as mentioned) have played there in the past. The Eagles will be there in July. Also, in the past, it was ranked as top new concert venue. I've read great things about its acoustics. While it is on the small side, it may serve as a great Macca concert venue. I'm hoping he plays there instead of Scott Stadium.

I wouldn't be happy if I got crappy seats on the 21st and then he added a second date. Hoping for the best! Very excited, the 21st would be perfect for seeing him!

So the Stones in Pittsburgh on Saturday and Paul in Philly on Sunday...??? If so I think we can work it out!

I'm doing the same thing!

if the Columbia SC show is on a Friday or Saturday night I may get pulled back in (Figured my ATL show last year would be the last one). That would be an easy drive from Atlanta. RamblinRed

So uh... about that announcement... :
-
RMartinez:
If Paul plays Columbia, SC, that will make New Mexico the only market from the 1993 tour he has not returned to. Wow.
I could go for New Mexico! It's muy acerca de mi here in occupied Mexico! Plus them we can see what happens when it blows your mind RM

Expect a big announcement this Friday at 4 p.m., folks. Live Nation will make what it says is a huge concert announcement for Philadelphia?s Wells Faro Center this afternoon by unfurling a huge banner on the side of the arena facing Interstate 95 during rush hour.

Maybe there are even more cities being considered, so they may announce next week. It's strange though, because even the Wells Fargo Center tweeted that the announcement would be today...
