forget 64:
What Arena, or Stadium in Charlottesville and or South Carolina is most likely if it happens?
In Charlottesville, it would be Scott Stadium. The Stones, U2, and the Dave Matthews Band have played there. In Columbia, probably Williams-Brice Stadium. It's the stadium Paul played at in '93.

RMartinez:
If Paul plays Columbia, SC, that will make New Mexico the only market from the 1993 tour he has not returned to. Wow.
I think he reads this board daily and sees that you are always complaining that he doesn't play NM-maybe that is why he hasn't been there since '93 Joking-hope he makes a stop this time around to NM. If the east coast cities are true looks like another budget buster summer ha

No idea, but here's my guess for both cities: Charlottesville John Paul Jones arena (basketball arena for UVA): 15,000 capacity; has hosted high-profile acts in the past (Fleetwood Mac, Pearl Jam, Eric Clapton) Columbia Colonial Life Arena (another basketball arena): 18,000 capacity; SC's largest entertainment venue; has hosted high-profile acts in the past (Elton John, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen)
cpaige & Sgt_Pepper thanks for the info!

These would be great ... my only thought is whether it's reasonable to expect Paul to sell out these types of venues in relatively small metro areas. I mean, we all love Paul, but these are big arenas (Scott Stadium's capacity is 61,500 and Williams-Brice's is 80,250). It's absolutely reasonable to expect him to sell out these types of venues in larger metro areas, but I wonder what would happen in Charlottesville or Columbia. Anyway, just a thought!

He may play them at half capacity. That's what Billy Joel is doing at our M&T Bank Football Stadium this summer. The stage is in the center of the field instead of the end and only half the seats are used....so for Paul, that would narrow those capacities into the 35,000 range which is more realistic.

I hope an Ohio date turns up...

The "Fans on the Run" page on Facebook says the date for Philly will be June 21st.

So since Wells Fargo tweeted it out, I would guess it's happening at the Wells Fargo Center?

Yep! If the June 21st date is true, then it will be at the Wells Fargo Center. The Phillies have an afternoon game on the 21st, so it won't be at Citizens Bank Park.

How exciting! Seeing the pic makes it feel more real! A week ago, I was feeling pretty gloomy about the lack of possibilities seeing him this summer. Now I'm feeling pretty good!

There we go!!! Father's Day- of all days! :

Yep! Planning on heading up to New York to see my dad the day before and then popping down to Philly to see Paul!

Think there will be a fan presale as usual?

Hope so! It's not a huge venue (20,000 capacity), so it won't be the easiest thing ever getting tickets.

Paul ticket sales stress me out so badly.
