Ringo's Skechers commercial

Bod? A body? I'm not gay but none of The Beatles were Jim Morrison... he was a Sex Symbol, and yes, I can understand why.
-
Wrong. There's a photo of Ringo in swim-trunks taken around the Hard Day's Night era, and he's rather easy on the eyes.

A Hard Gay's Night... Each to his own. I stick to his drums.

Here is a Ringo look that I can appreciate. It must be in the 70s maybe. Almost ready for Stray Cats. http://ringodreammer.tumblr.com/post/4836129727/ringo-starr-quotes And here https://theselvedgeyard.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/ringo-star.jpg Longer hair, and a little more beard, but now we are in the economical era... but who knows, in 50 years people maybe look like in the 70s again. "Ring of Changes" (a great Barclay James Harvest album)...

Yeah, he looks darn good! I would like his hair to be a bit longer though. Funny, nobody ever complains about Ringo dyeing his hair/beard and you know he must!
People probably wouldn't notice Paul''s as much...it being dyed...or comment about it....if he had a better cut. It falls all stringy onto his forehead and looks a bit like some weird comb-over. He must think it...the style and length...makes him look younger...but it is just the opposite.

I always thought the footage of them in bed hitting each other with pillows...made Ringo look just adorable.

In fairness, I think Ringo's beard and sunglasses -- which he's not been seen without in ages -- hide some wrinkles.
Absolutely. You can see Ringo's wrinkles in many closeup photos. And the man would look terrible without a beard as he has no chin these days. But this is why many older men grow facial hair -- to hide the sagging jowls. Als0 Ringo and his wife Barbara are enthusiastic Botox advocates. Obviously. Just look at their foreheads. Nothing wrong with that, it's their choice. But it's silly to suggest he's aging "naturally" when he's obviously got a good plastic surgeon. It's also fair to say that Paul looks worse and worse with every passing year. I don't want Paul to get plastic surgery or Botox but he would look 100% better -- 1000% better -- with a short beard, and a short hairstyle like Ringo has. Dyed hair on men ONLY works when it's kept short. Don't believe me? Look at the George Harrison documentary where Ringo is sporting a longer style of dyed hair: He looks ridiculous!!! And Ringo cut that longer hair back to short again as soon as that documentary came out and people all over the web were making fun of his hair. Meanwhile for some inexplicable reason, Paul has been sporting badly dyed, badly cut hair for a decade. I'm starting to think he is wearing a wig because why else wouldn't he have his hair professionally dyed and cut any more? One of the great mysteries: Why on earth doesn't Paul make any attempt to find a style that suits him? Why would he make public appearances looking like Alf? And you can tell he is uncomfortable getting his picture taken these days because of it. And Ringo is not.

I think Paul just needs a decent cut. He probably would look pretty good with his hair the way he had it in 2002. http://www.paulmccartney.com/sites/default/files/album_additional/Seliger_McCartneyr2_05.jpg

I think that pic might be from 2005, but I agree--he looks great there!

" I'm starting to think he is wearing a wig because why else wouldn't he have his hair professionally dyed and cut any more? " If his hair is a wig then he should get his money back - lol. A short haircut and maybe "Grecian" formula color where the hair shows some grey but not all.

I tend to agree with Yankeefan. Good point. Definitely not a wig, in my humble opinion. BTW, I have two pair Skechers and they are GREAT. So comfy!

Ringo looks like he is in his mid-40s. Looks younger than he did in the 80s, probably because he cleaned himself up!

He looks good, but not that good! His neck gives his age away. He looks like maybe 60 though! Without the beard he would look even older.

Okay w/ me that Ringo hustles "Sketchers" Those shoes are comfy which is a blessing if you have sensitive feet that can hurt.

The advert was shown on TV in the UK for the first time this week.
