Is periscope replacing youtube videos : I am a retired secretary so don't keep up with all the latest technologies. (Can you believe I don't even want a cellphone!) I haven't seen any youtube videos of last night's show.

Really good show, but for me I enjoy them all. Paul brought up only 1 fan tonight. A Japanese guy it was a lot of fun. When I sit On Brian's side he always fakes throwing the tambourine in to the audience and then throws it to Brian, security Brian, on the side. I met him at a bar a while back and I told him throw me the tambourine and I'll give it back I promise, and he laughed. Well tonight he did throw it to me. Real happy I caught it after a fun night and a few drinks. Could have been a disaster. Does anybody remember him throwing it to anybody but Brian?
Hey Phil...what a great story! (Just wondering...did (security) Brian come over to you to get the tambourine?) I don't recall him throwing it to any one else but Brian.

Brian came over but not right away. It seemed everyone was as surprised as me. I was holding it over the barrier so Brian could see who had it and he could get it. When I get home I have to look on YouTube to see the reaction, if any, from the rest of the band. Did you and your son get offered a recording contract yet after your recent performance. Sorry I missed it.

Paul sounded better last night than any show I've seen on the tour so far (live or on video). Loved getting "Jet" back in the set for this one, my wife hadn't seen him perform it live over the last several years since it had been dropped. It was really nice to be at the front of the railing in the upper level. Nobody in front of us blocking our view at all. So much better than Hershey, but was my wife's first time seeing two shows in the same tour, so she was very happy. I shot 5 full songs from the show, in case anybody is interested. These are from the 8/10 show last night: You Won't See Me -
Love Me Do - Lady Madonna - Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da - New - -

Love Me Do - Lady Madonna - Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da - New -Great videos! Thank you!!! (who was the man sitting in between Abe & Wix?)

Thanks! We had a great vantage point, and a long zoom. I think that guy was making sure Abe and Wix didn't get into trouble. He looked so serious the whole time.

Wow! Some great shots! Will check out all of them when I get home.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Ed. WONDERFUL photos; and every song too! Us people who still glue photos in Paul albums really appreciate it! Thanks so much for sharing. I hope I do as well in Sacramento.

You are quite welcome. Good luck on Sacramento. Optical zoom (20x on mine), knowing when to use the flash, and allowing auto focus time to work help quite a bit. Thanks to Dia for getting me to the show, even if it meant 6 hours on a plane and sleeping in an airport!

WixRocks!:
Fab show...been a long and winding night. Just briefly popping on here to let everyone know the show was fantastic as always. At 10:50pm last evening, just about the time we were all singing "Let it Be" with the man, my grandfather lost his battle with lung cancer. Tonight's show with my aunt, his sister-in-law whom she's known since age 3 and the woman that taught me to play piano at her first Paul show, will be a very, very emotional and much needed rejuvenating experience. Thank you Paul, for the bliss of the concert world...and God bless my family for not calling me until they knew I was home at 1am. I'll give more detailed reviews of both shows, per usual, tomorrow.
so so sorry for your loss keeping you and your family in my prayers.

I Saw Her Standing There: Neither video is complete. -
Going to two shows back to back means I've had bits and pieces of songs playing in my mind for days. Both nights I went with friends who had never seen Paul live. One said this was the second best concert she had ever been to. Days later she kept saying she wanted to see Paul again. The other friend said it was the best concert and Rod Stewart better watch out because Paul might take his place in her heart. I was so happy they both loved it so much.

Sorry I didn't make it back on here...so much going on. First and foremost- thank you ALL for the support and condolences on my grandfather's passing. We had viewings/services Friday & Saturday and all went as smoothly as could be. Secondly, my Aunt and I made it to the show Wednesday night...there was no place better to be. We were in section 121...practically on the corner of the stage. Almost better seats than my Gold package from Philly. This was the first time I had seen Paul two nights in a row and I thought he sounded BETTER on the second night. He was in great form both nights, but this business about doing too many shows in a row doesn't seem to have much merit. Frankly, I think a LOT of people get carried away with bashing his voice. His voice was relatively consistent both nights. The first two songs were wobbly. "Can't Buy Me Love" he got into full voice and stayed strong till about "Back in the USSR", not that it was weak...but that is where the decline is noticeable and things get a little more "shouty". My aunt is a voice major, music teacher, and even had a short lived life in the world of pop music back in the 60's. She's wanted to see Paul since she saw The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show in '64 (she was in the third grade). She felt that his age is a non-factor. She was very impressed with "Maybe I'm Amazed" and so was I, as I've seen him botch it before. She noted that the show could be shortened a bit but more importantly, he saves his hardest songs to sing till the end of the show...not exactly setting him up for 100% success. Anyway...just a little healthy and unbiased input on the voice debate. All in all, both nights were incredible and so beautifully timed. Thank you Paul, for being there for me when I needed it most, like always...See you next time!...whenever that may be!

Thanks for your review, Wix. I was hoping you'd check in with us. Yes, two shows back to back was really neat.
