I know this is never going to happen, but here's a Paul set list I would kill to see him do (and yes, I know that vocally he probably couldn't pull off some of these now, but it's a fantasy after all, so let me dream).
So Glad to See You Here
The World Tonight
Friends to Go
Who Cares
You Won't See Me
Ever Present Past
The Pound is Sinking
I Don't Know
Your Mother Should Know
WanderLust
Hand in Hand
Eat At Home
Run Devil Run
Sing the Changes
Confidante
Put It There
Sally G
Somedays
Mull of Kintyre
Hunt You Down (but extend it a bit)
Getting Closer
Vintage Clothes
Do It Now
Beautiful Night(encores)
Junior's Farm
Can't Buy Me Love
Silly Love Songs
Band on the RunI had typed that as a list, one song per line, and I don't know why it all got mushed together. Now that I try to quote it it seems to be looking normal. This site baffles me sometimes.
When you quote it, it looks fine, then 30 minutes later it is back to being f@%ked up!

Blimey, now I don't know if I saw him play "That Was Me" or "Ever Present Past" in Paris that time, which one it was--I know it was one of them. I recall at the time I thought, "Wow, he's playing that one, fancy that," or something similar. (I wasn't there in person, wish I had been, saw it in a video online.) I didn't know he'd trot that one out. It's always a wonderful surprise when Paul performs a "new" different offering in concert. Even "the same old thing" seems a marvel, when you're actually there. To me, anyway. But then I haven't seen him on tour 345 times like some lucky ones have. Somebody recently posted he'd seen Macca in concert over 300 times and shared that he (the fan) got a huge thrill, loved it, every time.

Paul needs to shake things up to get his edge back. For his next tour, he should play the Wild Life album in its entirety, do Soily as the encore, drop the mic and walk off the stage.

It was That Was Me:
Notice the crowd reaction to this song was pretty good. I think people outside of the US are more into and willing to give his solo songs a chance and try to enjoy them even if they do not know the song. Loved that McCartney played "House Of Wax" at this show also.

Paul seems to have spent a considerable amount of time rehearsing "I Don't Know" privately in Japan, and he's done it a couple of times at public soundchecks. Hopefully he'll add it to the actual setlist soon.

"I Don't Know" is charming and poignant, meaningful. That silvery, tinkly piano intro truly moves me to the core, imparts tingles

It would have been fun, interesting, cute, cool if he had performed "Cafe On The Left Banke" in a Paris concert. As well as "Michelle"

I wish he'd bring back some of the Beatles songs he only played for a short time like The Night Before, Another Girl, Your Mother Should Know, Things We Said Today, Here There and Everywhere, I'm Looking Through You, etc. He could really "freshen up" the set with some of these.
When did he ever play Your Mother Should Know live? I guess I missed that. I wish he would add Mother Nature's Son from the White Album for this tour.
I did notice that he seems to have listened to those who wanted more solo and less Beatles. I noticed the setlist is closer to 50/50 Beatles and Solo/Wings now. Solo fans here must be happy!

OK...it's more like 60/40...but still!

He played it in 2013. I saw him do it when I saw him in Seattle that year.

The song got dropped altogether (!) at the start of the tour, only to come back once in Tokyo.

Just saw on Paul's Instagram story that Dance Tonight is being performed again. Hasn't been away that long but I always enjoy it when I hear it

This is what drives me crazy about his selections. Fun song but like you said not away that long. Why not "Ever Present Past" or "That Was Me" instead of "Dance Tonight" - oh well - lol

If you make a tour and call it "Freshen up" then you play the same old song.. there are no more hope.. for the future..
