MetLife Stadium, New Jersey - June 16, 2022 Confirmed
-
So great to have purchased two Hot Sound packages for my son James and me to close out Paul's "Got Back" Tour on June 16 at MetLife Stadium!!
We can't wait!
-
Glad you were able to get something. I was so bummed because I wasn't even able to log on, and a friend could log on but couldn't purchase anything.
May I ask you, what row you get for the Hot Sound?

That's awesome - enjoy! I'll be at MetLife too, but way up in the 300s.

Of all my Macca shows, MetLife stadium has been the most difficult to get tickets for (in both 2016 and 2022) despite it being the largest venue. Not sure why that is. Maybe because it's been the only area show in both years for NY, NJ, CT, PA, etc. What row/price level were you looking for?

Hi DrivinFan!!
So glad you got tix! I remember you & your son and wife from San Jose.
We got tix for Oakland...row 4!!! Maybe I will have to drag out my "other sign". I did not see Hot Sound package offered on Ticketmaster.

That's great! Seems so long ago that we met up in San Jose and had our signs read by Paul! We'll touch base after the Oakland and Jersey shows to compare notes. Talk to you soon!

Was just looking at Ringo's tour schedule...on June 15 (day before Paul's June 16 MetLife concert) he is in Baltimore.
He is "off" on the 16th!
...and playing in Massachusettes on June 17 (basically passing through New Jersey).
Maybe an encore performance at MetLife similar to Dodgers Stadium in 2019?? Any thoughts??

I saw similar speculation from another board member. Fingers crossed!

Give me a break. There's tickets available for this show RIGHT NOW at face value. Go buy them

Ticketmaster has been a bit erratic to say the least!

That's awesome! I was going to try for the Hot Sound package but ran into technical difficulties along the way. All the VIP options were gone by the time I finally got through. But at least I'll be at the show, so I can't complain.

For all those purchasing tickets in the "general" sale this morning...how did it go?
-
Less than 2 weeks until the first night of the tour in Spokane...and 2 months until MetLife rocks again!!

Hi guys, how are you doing?
I'm going to the MetLife Stadium show and I have a question for you: is it easy to leave the stadium area when the show is over? I mean, is there any transport like a train or a special bus near the stadium?

There is supposed to be a special service bus from NYC/Port Authority Station to and from the stadium for MetLife events. It is called the 351 Meadowland Express. 351 Meadowlands Express – Bus Schedule | Coach USA
I am going as well so will keep up to date on this option. There are other public transport options but this appears to be the most expedient route as it takes you directly from Manhattan to the stadium with no stops or changes.Of course you are at the mercy of NYC traffic so leave plenty early! I remember going to see The Boss at the old stadium and due to an overturned oil tanker the traffic was backed up for 3 hours!

Hi, bernie 1cat.! I hope you can give me some help: I was ready to buy the Meadowland Express tickets, but I couldn't choose the date for the bus. Do you know if they sell the tickets this way? I mean, we just buy a ticket and we don't need to select a date?

I noticed that as well. Since this is a service run just for MetLife events maybe they don't sell tickets in advance?!?!?! I am pretty sure you can just buy a ticket the day of the event but I will check it out when I get to NYC next Monday. Anyone from New York here on the board who has used this service in the past your input would be appreciated.

Now that Ringo's tour has been called off after two of the All Stars contracted Covid; does the rumor mill still suggest he shows up Thursday night or does he simply fly home now. Here are my guesses for the pre Macca birthday show Thursday.
Ringo. Yes he still makes an appearance. Paul did it for his 70th at Radio City Music Hall. I was there!
Billy Joel
Bruce Springsteen
Jon Bon Jovi
