"Triplets Love Paul" with Paul!
-
Take a look at the absolutely fabulous "Triplets Love Paul" as they join Paul on stage. You do not want to miss this!
-
WOW!!! That must have been quite a night! The triplets certainly stole the show...and Paul was great with them!

Thank you so much for posting this lindafan! It was very sweet of you! We hope that anyone who watches this realizes that this a small glimpse into a window of Paul McCartney's soul. It gives you a true sense of just how kind he is. He didn't do this for Make A Wish, charity, private pay or publicity. The only cameras rolling were his own. I wondered then, and still now, just how many men of his wealth and fame, possession of power, and magnitude of status would bend down before three children to play for them merely because he could see they love him. There are not many, if any, who would ever dream of doing such a thing. For one brief moment in time, Paul McCartney allowed not only our children to touch his life, but all of us who were there to see it as well. What a world this would be if all of our heroes gave so generously and lovingly! Triplets Love Paul

Tell us the story again I know that you told us the tale when the Bill Bernstein picture was picked up by the press and appeared here but that was over 2 years ago now and it's definately a story worth another outing. How did the Triplets take the fame? Was it well received at school etc? - I know schoolkids can be merciless at times. Two years is an awful long time in a child's life - they must have sprouted now, can any of them still wear those suits? Do you know the uploader of that video, or was that clip the "Find Of The Century" on YouTube? Martin

What a great experience that must've been . Between that and the Ben/Melissa story, we got to hear of a couple outstanding personal moments from that tour...
-
Excellent clip!

To TRPLETS LOVE PAUL I was lucky enough to be at that show in Philadelphia with my son in 1st row and it was fantastic when the triplets came on!!! I agree 100% with your post about Paul and that evening. What a gret night!!!
-
Can't load the video...
-
If you have a slow connection, the trick is often to open the page and immediately stop the video using the "pause" button at the bottom left of the clip. The video should continue to download to your temporary internet file - you should see the red progress bar travel across the file download. Once it has reached the end then click the same button which should now look like a "Play" button. Then it should play at full speed as the file is stored locally on your computer. Martin

Hi forget64 - I think we told you this before, your son looks very cute in his Sgt. Pepper suit. Let him know we saw him in the Space Within Us dvd. That night in Philly was great!

Sorry Martin, we just realized you posted this. We would have replied sooner. It wasn't us that told how the press picked up the Bernstein photo and its appearance here. We were not with the board then. We first learned about the Bernstein photo on the second night of the Philly concert (9/23/05). A few people from the McCartney organization (for lack of a better word) came to us to speak with us. We were told that they were very pleased to have just been told that one of the Bernstein photos had been chosen for a picture of the week. I believe it was this one - http://img162.imageshack.us/img162/5875/4215811223wm5.jpg We next heard about the photo when we received a call informing us that it would be appearing in the next issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. How did the triplets handle the fame? It seems like a funny question, but you'd be surprised how often they are recognized, even two years later! It has been our experience that most people just want a moment or two of your time. They usually want to shake their hands. They want to "shake the hand of someone that has shook the hand of a Beatle!" It's a funny thing! Many people just want to ask them what it was like to meet Paul McCartney! Some people ask if they can take a picture of the triplets or if my husband or I would take a picture of them with the triplets. The triplets have been given an extraordinary gift from Sir Paul. They know that, as do we. When we saw how things were going, we decided very early on that we would do anything we could to pay it forward. I should probably note that by way of being triplets, strangers have been approaching the triplets since birth. So, they really aren't disturbed by it. It's pretty much been a way of life for them. However, this is a little more exciting than "who was born first, how much did you weigh, etc.!" It was very well received at school. The teachers and principal LOVED it! Their teacher hung a picture of it in their classroom. The principal hung a picture of it in the front hallway. Two teachers from the school were at the concert, as were several of the parents. The triplets have never been teased about it by anyone. They had just started first grade at the time. Not one other child in the class knew who Paul McCartney was! The 7th and 8th graders thought it was cool! The only time the triplets wore their Sgt. Pepper suits was on 9/22 and 9/23/05. For a few minutes, they did put on just the jackets for the 40th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper. They were snug! To the best of our knowledge, we do not know the uploader of this video. We have become friends with lindafan, who asked us if we would mind if she posted this clip. Someone was actually kind enough to send film from that night to the triplets for Christmas 2005. We think this clip is the "find of the century" because is gives others who were not there that night in Philly the opportunity to see the kindness and generosity of Paul McCartney's heart. Seems like the appropriate time to post these pics... These were taken by some friends of mine from England who were at the show. The triplets were definitely one of the highlights of the tour! A very special moment. Thanks for sharing the memory with us! Podgie (who's not a triplet, but believe it or not, has a twin) Monkey

PodgeTheBear, you have no idea what you have just done by posting these pictures. I (mom) just started to cry when I saw them. The children wanted me to take their picture in front of that truck, under Paul. It was difficult to get over there the first night, as so many people asked us to stop for them to take a picture of the kids. My husband said it was time to run the camera back to the car prior to entering the venue. The second night we accidently left our camera in the car. It was beyond hectic that night. We couldn't go back for it. I remember exactly when this picture was taken. A very nice woman asked if she could take their picture there. She said she would post it here. I said okay, but knew I would never see it, not being a member here at the time. I remember being so upset the next day because I wasn't able to take that picture "with Paul" for the kids. My husband told me I was crazy! He said they were on stage with Paul, who cares about a picture with a truck! You have absolutely stunned me! THANK YOU PODGETHEBEAR!

It certainly is a small world! PodgeTheBear's friend from England was at that show , took the picture you couldn't take and somehow it finds it's way to this topic in Paul's messageboard! What do you think of that? I believe more than ever, there is a Paul McCartney karma. It is right here .

How cute is this!!!

I feel very happy to get these photos to you. The thanks go to my friends, Chris and Sue, in England who took these great photos. I feel like Father Christmas. Podgie (spreading Christmas Cheer) Monkey

We are sure most of you here already know how nice PodgeTheBear is, but just in case anyone needs a reminder...After reading our post, Podgie contacted us and sent us the photos in the appropriate resolutions for printing. Not only that, Podgie also sent two more photos of the triplets and Andre Gardner, while he had them on the air. We were Stunned!!! I explained to Podgie that our family has a holiday tradition that each person brings a Christmas story to the table. This is my Christmas story this year! A heartfelt thank you to Podgie for giving the triplets these photos, and for giving me my Christmas story! A very happy Christmas to Podgie (Father Christmas) Monkey! Triplets Love Paul Thank you to Chris and Sue for thinking to take these photos, and for sending them to your amazing friend Podgie!
