I would be thoroughly surprised and disappointed if Paul did not promote a new record with several US cities this fall. Nothing massive...but several.
That would be great! We can always hope! I can't imagine he'd not do the US at all... maybe 5-10 shows are possible after October 1. Ideal would be Kansas City, Milwaukee, Denver, California, Seattle or Portland and Charleston, S.C (or Jacksonville or somewhere in the Southern U.S.....) *Keeping fingers crossed*

Paris at the U-Arena could be later this year according to a recent interview with French Rugby official
There are a few rumors pointing that way so I would think possibilities are good.
So maybe ACL are the only US dates for this year
It definitely a possibility, why I've been telling everyone to grab an existing one or risk possibly not seeing a show this year. I could wind up being wrong but I booked my trip to Montreal weeks ago.
possibility of second nights being added to any of the Canadian venues? I hear Montreal is beautiful to stay for a few days in the fall.
Not that I've heard but I am staying 18-21

No new rumours regarding UK/Europe?

Well there’s the Paris rumour and I’ve heard rumours about Liverpool and London

Great! Hoping they'll be announced soon and that there'll be venues with GA.

what rumours are those? I've not heard anything about the UK?

You guys kill me who love GA! If I don’t have an assigned seat in an air conditioned arena, forget it!

Haha as much as I hate standing for 6 hours outside in the schorching sun not being able to move anywhere I still prefer GA

I would love Paris, London and Liverpool later in the year but I am taking Bob's advice to heart and going for Montreal and Quebec. If UK happens so much the better!
Seriously beginning to doubt Milwaukee will happen given the timing so I wonder who the Grand Opening act will be? Maybe the Stones bring their No Filter tour to the US after 2 years in Europe? Nah...I doubt that, too!

I took my own advice too. Will be at Montreal but if no USA later, really hoping for another Liverpool show

Ok Bob, I'll meet you in Montreal!!!
I'll have to sell my William Hung tickets,... anybody interested in 1st row CHEAP?
-
Hoping second nights get added to the Canadian dates. Seems like too much off time in between shows unless Toronto or the like is added.
-
Damn, and I just gave up my Amex. Have not done the verified fan before and does not bode well from what I've heard so far.
Those Paris rumours...when are they for?

There is a 7 days gap between Montreal and Winnipeg shows, but in 2012 we had something very simmilar: Paul played in St Louis on November 11th and then in Houston on November 14th. After 10 days, he performed in Vancouver on November 25th.
If there are more shows coming, I can only see they happening after Austin City Limits.

Some California dates would make sense...and Denver is overdue, but all those others have been visited fairly recently, considering the regularity at which they've been visited over the years.
I still can't imagine him doing nothing on the East Coast with a new album to plug. He knows he can sell out Philadelphia, either venue, in a heart beat. New York would be foolish after last year, and perhaps DC and/or Boston would be a bit of a stretch. There just seems to be something special about Philadelphia for him. It's a home-run every time.
As for who may be the grand opener for Milwaukee...perhaps Billy Joel? He's one to do the whole venue opening shtick much like Paul...and he hasn't been there in a decade.

Good call there. So perhaps after the limited Canadian run the crew takes the gear and parks it in Austin for the week or so and then if the new rumors hold true it's back to across the pond. My guess is a summer US tour in 2019
