The way this summer is flying by, October will be here before we know it! I will be seeing Paul in JAX 5 days before this show. My week of Paul!!!

I wonder if there's any special song associated with Greensboro that Paul might sing. In SF he sang 'SF Bay Blues' when I was there in 2010. He's done that at other shows, too. Just something that ran through my mind tonight and thought I'd ask y'all.

I would fall down in shock if Mr. McCartney did anyone of these songs, best chance would be the JT song IMO.

I don't have a job right now and can't afford to attend the Greensboro concert, it really kills me, it hurts I even wrote Brian Ray and asked him to ask Paul's people if they'd send me a ticket for the show. I had read where Stuart Bell said the office receives many requests and wondered if similar requests had ever been made. Brian Ray responded they only give complimentary tickets to "family and friends" which hurt some since I had thought myself a major enthusiastic fan who could be regarded as quite friendly to Macca, I had given him such effusive sincere praise at his site for many years. It's so awful knowing I'll miss this N.C. show. I had gone to his Charlotte N.C. show in July 2010, best concert of my life, of course. Some have seen him perform 56 or more times. Can certainly understand why.

Susy, be sure to enter the ticket contest. http://www.paulmccartney.com/out-there-ticket-contest

Went to the same Charlotte concert and had a blast, I went with my wife and daughters. My daughters had never seen him so it was a big thrill. I entered the contest also just for laughs but if for some miracle I win I would have no problem giving you the tickets. I have seen him 6-7 times so it would not be that big a deal for me. Good luck if you enter the contest.

Sorry you can't make it to the concert, Suzy. I am sure they get thousands of requests just like yours, so it is understandable that they need to limit the comp tix to "family & friends" only. Being a "major enthusiastic fan" does not qualify one as either a family member nor personal friend. "Friendly" fans don't count. I am sure there are countless others that face the same dilemma whenever Paul does a gig near them. Not everyone can afford it. I would love to go see him in San Diego...8 hours away, but our finances are such that it's impossible. Hopefully you can see him on the next go 'round, and watch clips of Greensboro on You Tube.

thanks so much, Yankee Fan, and to others who thought of me. You reckon it would be cool to see him even in the highest of the "Nosebleed" (cheaper) seats, they do have those gigantic screens on each side of the stage showing the action...and the MUSIC emanating from Paul and band is certainly quite loud enough to hear How much is a nosebleed ticket

-
Audi, I hadn't even thought about JT's 'Carolina in my mind'!!! OMG!!! If Paul broke into that one, you'd have to scrape me up off the floor. I'll be the one shrieking before I pass out so somebody get good video of Paul sings that one!

Has anyone received their tickets for the Greensboro show yet???
-
If you purchased from the presale, don't expect them from Crowdsurge until about 2 weeks before the show. I am SO excited, I can hardly STAND it! This is the best seat I've EVER had!!!
-
I did get my JAX tickets much sooner than 2 weeks ahead so hopefully they will start sending them out in the next couple of weeks. Getting so excited since October is right around the corner now!
