What would be cool is if they had something like Tom Petty, he has a bit where he plays some songs that he likes or that he was inspired by...with some related comments about the song. I would so enjoy hearing songs that inspired Paul or Ringo...also songs that they enjoy listening to...especially any related to the Fireman!!! Can't wait for this!!!

ETA: Discovered that you can only get this if you already have a Sirius XM radio, but a lapsed subscription.

Has anyone else been listening to this today? I haven't been able to listen a lot but I've enjoyed what I've heard. If this is the wrong forum for this feel free to move it.

Listening to Blue Suede Shoes on my lunch!!! Now go cat go... Feeling 11yr old ....SCREAMS. VERY HAPPY music

Have not had a chance to listen too much today, though I did find a good reason to be in my car at 9:09 this morning for the official launch. But in the car now and let me roll it is on. Glad to see they will be incorporating solo work in addition to the Beatles. Also just heard Chuck Berry. So it's cool that they are playing some bands they were inspired by as well. That's how the other band channels work so I assumed that would be the case here too but you never know.

No, you're in the right thread/forum. Let us know what neat things you hear!

I have listened for roughly one hour total throughout the day, on and off. AND I LIKE THIS! I've heard about 75% Beatles, 10% Paul, 5% John, 5% George, 5% covers. So far I've heard "Coming Up" Live 79, "Jet" (a soundcheck version from Band On The Run deluxe), and "Arrow Through Me", which I don't think I've ever heard anywhere but my iPod. Definitely diggin' the solo Macca. I also really enjoy Paul and Ringo's new promo spots. It's so cool to hear "This is Paul. You're listening to Beatles Radio on Sirius XM". Then they mix in the Live at the BBC promos...there's just so much potential to make this a comprehensive, fluid, enjoyable station. I am very excited!

I've kept my Sirius Radio ever since I bought a new car in November of 2013. It's expensive but I look at overall value. It offers so much even beyond music...sports, news, all the news/cable channels you get on TV etc. Because i'm in the car so much it is definitely worth it to me. My favorite music channels are the 60's and 70 (channel 6 and channel 7). Now of course I have it set for Channel 18 (new Beatles' channel). So far i'm liking it too. They are doing a fair amount of Solo Songs from all of them. They are also doing rare tracks (live and demos) which I also like. Then they have artists that influenced the Fabs to give it more variety. This morning I heard Elvis Costello's version of "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away". It's about time that the Beatles' had their own channel on sirius.

I like the mini-interviews with other performers - except Miley Cyrus. I wanted to slap my computer and say "Girl, it's not all about YOU!"
