Now you expect us to buy Kisses in a third format? Will not be happening at my house.
I know. For an animal rights activist, he sure likes beating that dead horse. ETA: THIS should have been the free download to make up for the rip-off of Premium Members, not the DVD. This is just one more way to rip us off.
Absolutely. But even then, it's only a rehash of what we've already got with one new song and one alternative version thrown in...
Yeah, just like the Amoeba Records download. See a pattern here?

Post of the thread really made me laugh very much out loud

Those Wings shirts that were supposed to be in the store a while back would be a cool thing to put in the goodie bag. or 50% off some stuff in the store for cyber Monday would be cool

I think most of us are expecting some physical goodies (Please take note of that, MPL!), and that would be a perfect gift to get!

I bet they are just taking the easy (cheap) way out with the downloads. They will not send out anything that would cost them so much. (postage) PS I emailed them on that Wings shirt immediately & it still hasn't shown up...even now...a year later.

I'm not bothered about physical product, I want something unique. I'd much prefer it to be audio or video, but it doesn't have to be physical

I'm old school. I do want something physical and not something we already have.

Another version of Kisses on the Bottom?! I don't even like it. And I am still mad about not getting the "bonus" songs on the original CD I preordered in February. I have 3 versions of Memory Almost Full- but at least I can stand to listen to it! As for the consolation prizes for my Premium Membership, I am disappointed in Paul and the customer service @ MPL. The people at Topspin, though, have been quick to respond and are very helpful. If you didn't receive the emails about the downloads, just contact them and they will get the info to you! And the Amoeba show?? I bought the vinyl EP when it was first released because I thought it was "exclusive." (and because I couldn't help myself) Then I bought the CD... Now I have more of it (but still no video)- even another live "Hey Jude"! I think I now have my fill of alternate live versions of "Hey Jude"! It doesn't seem that Paul is ever going to give the fans what we really want. Seems he's forgotten about giving fans value for their money.

My sentiments echo yours.

The "Kisses Complete" release actually has six unreleased tracks, by my count: The Christmas Song (well, first time released on a McCartney release); the alternate "My Valentine"; and four additional tracks from the Capitol Studios performance (so now it's 13 total, as opposed to the nine on the previous iTunes album of it, not to mention the four originally included as free downloads from KOTB). I think someone at MPL is not-so-subtly nudging the Grammy people to consider KOTB for Traditional Pop Performance! I enjoyed the "Live at Los Angeles" download, though, since I missed the CD (was that part of some newspaper or something? am I remembering correctly?) although I did get the EP on CD and vinyl. I'll admit, too, that my initial thrill of hearing "Hey Jude" live has waned somewhat over the decades, though. Whenever we hear it yet again, I can't help making new suggestions for Paul to shout out: Just the old people! Just the rich people! etc. I'm hoping the website people are getting some good suggestions out of this thread, and that they realize that premium members are likely to have just about everything already released.

It's simple, Paul and your staff have worked hard to create and make all this possible. I am grateful for all the hard work you all have put into this effort !! I hope some day that you will come back to Portland Oregon. I hope that my 10 year old son and I will get to see you some day. ALL THE BEST

Got both of my downloads at last. Haven't played Kisses yet though, saw it Saturday night on the TV, so I doubt I will now.

He'll be able to hear those people...because that's the first ten rows...as they're the only people who can afford re-sale prices! Whatever happened to the 'rattle your jewelry' mentality in rock and roll anyway? Rolling Stones...can you hear me? Reason #1 I joined the new fan club and (luckily) paid for lifetime (Pioneer) membership: to get the email code to beat the re-sellers at their own game. Never got it...and don't think anyone at the head office is listening. P.S. Add me to the members hoping for something tangible in the mail. Happy with anything but Wings sounds good to me too!

28 days and 695 replies late there is still no communication from MPL. Whilst I appreciate the "goodies" I'd rather get some sense of what's going to happen to the website - is it worth it for me and others to continue using it if Paul's company has basically given up on it..and it's members/fans. How many replies before we actually get some information on what's going on?
-
So do we know if there's any more "goodies" coming along or is that it? does seem to have gone a bit quiet from MPL.
-
Premium members paid alot of money for the "goodies". I enjoyed playing the Jukebox and hearing all of Paul's songs. There were alot of cool things on the website and now it is boring. Bring the Jukebox back. Suzi Indiana

Love the website thanks for making it free to everyone
