also the Pipes of Peace one, the Say say say one...yeah press is a very under- rated song ....and excellent vid and whatever is my fav oasis song........see we do have things in common i should not have put this up( it reminds me of my ex )

(John Lennon???), Noel Gallagher, George Michael (or Freddie Mercury???), (Mike Oldfield :lol, Bono, Paul McCartney, Craig David, Kilye again..., Tom Jooones, Keith Richards, Bjork, (Lennon or Bowie?), Kurt Cobain, Rod Stewart, Meat Loaf, Cher, Jamiroquai??? , Jarvis Cocker, Mick Jagger, Elton John and Brian May.
fantastic vid.....VISUALLY that must be sophie ellis bextor.....plus the elton john bloke is very close ( he once came on a quiz show for half a hour and never spoke once )
i think sophie ellis bextor is stuning .....yet many think shes minging........different tastes again -
Thanks, I like the jaunty upbeat numbers (and "So Bad") by the to me obscure English bands. They're some kinda cute. Many thanks again, Oliver and Moggy (smiley faces) I liked "Press" video and song. I saw the stills from the Press video in an old Club Sandwich from the 80s bought off eBay. At the time I didn't know the pix were from "Press."

hi if you look at the housemartins you may recognise someone
(that must be one of the most famous vids of recent times) and of course this these did alright too i have actually heard that song played , as the last song of the night.......obviously missing the irony ( put loads of girls names in to sell records) Listen to the lyrics........i cannot believe people took it serious......i suppose its the music i think this one WAS serious this is a group i really like with a simple ....but nice vid esp the end i met them briefly once ....good lads -
i have said in the past vids with semi nacked girls bore me (the r &B ones),.....this is a exception ops:
i am really going from one thing to the other tonight.....a member of the mondays is now in a group with my ex workmate (CLANG ! thats a name dropped ) its the lad with the tamberine incidently -
Oh Wow, thanx again Moggy, can't wait to check these out when I get more time later tonight. Something to look forward to. Those ditties were really cheery by the Housemartins and others. They could have dressed a bit flashier or something (LOL) the clothes and hairstyles were so plain. An interesting contrast with the bright upbeat kicky songs (LOL) Sophie Ellis Bextor, on the other hand, sports a ton of war paint (make up). Had never heard of that chippie. She's interesting. "Murder on the Dance Floor" is that kind of a "Gothic disco" song? Kind of offbeat and strange. Looking forward to seeing her other you provided. And all the others, it's so fab, very cool :

one funny thing the housemartins did on vids was this
the original drummer left, and was replaced ......they used it as the main point of their next vid ......and even brought it up on the next i assume they split on good terms three more crackers by the housemartins a cover of the Isleys classic i think got to no 1....just a vocal record.....no instruments on it at all -

I tried to delete this as it was a mix up but it didn't delete. Sorry

Yes, a Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and I don't know really if the Jarvis Cocker is Elvis Costello, sings like Elvis Costello but moves like Jarvis Cocker... Of course Sophie is stunning, or at least she seems to be in the videos.

"Yer So Bad" - Tom Petty
The video is a bit wierd, but I like the song. Basically any music video that actually shows the band playing.
