New DVD from Out There Tour

The cameras are there for every show.
Right. I'm wondering if there will be a DVD that compiles footage from multiple shows. *shrug* Just an idea.

Yes

It does look like they're professionally recording the gigs, though...the boom cranes with cameras at the gigs, and if you go to his official YouTube channel, the quality of the footage is excellent (like the "grasshopper" video). It's not out of the realm of possibility!
Maybe I just didn't take notice, but I don't remember 2 boom cranes with cameras in recent concerts. One or two?

John Mackintosh:
New album of fresh goodies from the studio is next. Doubtful on a live DVD so soon after Good Evening New York.
It's no sooner than The Space Within Us and GENYC and Back in the US to Space Within Us was only 3 years.
Good point! Perhaps we will see a live DVD. I would certainly buy it.

They should sell every show on DVD.

What is it this year 4 years since New york may well be time to get another one out?

Paul should do what Peter Frampton does on his tour stops. Offer a copy of the soundboard from each venue's concert. Ironically enough, Abbey Road Studios were responsible for his live soundboard cd. Wife and I got ours within 30 minutes of Peter's concert here back in 2011.

...and how about a 'best-of soundcheck" bonus disc, too (including "Sun Is Shining")?
Now we're talking!!
-
Don't see why not. Some artists have a DVD out of every tour. Including Paul for a while. He has a DVD of every tour from 1989-2005. I don't understand why there's no DVD of the concert at the Coliseum in Rome, the biggest in his entire career, especially when there's good quality bootlegs(both audio and video) out there. Maybe he'll do what The Grateful Dead and Phish do someday, and put all his live concerts on the website for sale.

I need to check out that 2003 Italy show. I keep hearing good things about it.

This would be a great idea!

So, does the consensus amongst us prefer a compilation-DVD or a DVD of Out There only? Does it matter if live versions of songs from the upcoming album are included?
