If there is a concert in Santa Clara, is there transportation to and from San Francisco? or rent a car?
Santa Clara light rail VTA Great America station adjacent. San Jose airport is closer than SFO.
Thanks to both for responses! I was more interested in SFO as would prefer to stay there.... Cheers!

There's no BART to the new stadium. Public transit from SF is Caltrain to Mountain View, switch to Santa Clara light rail. Stadium parking is planned to be around $50 to discourage driving.

what do you guys think the chances are for a show anywhere between DC and NYC (so Philly, Delaware, anything like that)?

I'd say less than 5%, and I'm only saying that because I would never say 0%. Closest to the East Coast looks like Albany. It looks like he is going to do a number of shows in the Plains/Mountains states - which have been underrepresented in the past. RamblinRed

Any ideals where the next batch of shows will be?

I wish, I live in NJ so It would be easy to go to those but I would say chances are .00000001% Actually, I'm being nice...I think chances are lower than that

Hi, it's best to fly into San Jose, it's about 5 miles miles or so to the new Levi stadium... also, the light rail drops you off near the new stadium....

A guy at work, who is a huge NJ Devils fan said that he heard from a guy who works at Prudential in Newark that Paul is playing there at the end of the summer. I know it is just a rumour, but that would be great. The Who played there, as did The Stones...you never know, right?

There is no DC show this year (he was just here last year) and no NYC show this year. I thought Philadelphia would happen this year, but it doesn't seem to be so. I'd bet next year though. He's never played Delaware or Virginia but there's a first time for everything! I don't think either state offers venues large enough though. I haven't heard that rumor about Newark, NJ before and find it odd that Bob wouldn't know about a show in his home state, but know the entire concert map for the states this summer....

I haven't read all this, but is Paul possibly coming to Indianapolis?

my guesses for the last shows announced are 8/5 - Missoula, MT 8/10 - Los Angeles 8/12 - Santa Clara 8/14 - Phoenix I think all the other shows have been announced. (Note that this leg would already include the 8/2 Minneapolis show and the 8/7 Salt Lake City show) RamblinRed

Yeah, no New Jersey, New York, Philly, Boston or DC this time out. Usually I have at least two or three shows very easy to get too but we can't complain in this area (although we will!!! ) but the nice thing is that there are cities this time that haven't seen Paul in quite awhile or at all. So I am happy for those folks, I'm used to travelling to see him so not really a bad thing. Nothing better than a Macca vacation. I am really pulling for UK/Europe and hope that they get their shows this year. And if it doesn't happen this year, by all means Paul if you read this board, give Australia a break!!!!

I'm not even worried he won't bring the tour to Europe for a watered down five-date run - I can wait, had my fair share of shows in less than 3 years with a similar set anyway - but more worried he will have dropped the songs we were all longing for years, one is already down...

Sincere appreciation for the clues you provided on this board. They did lower the turmoil and made it significantly easier than years past to make plans for a US McCartney vacation. Now let's get ready to rock.
