Does he still do any songs from Choose Love? I was just listening to his awesome duet with Chrissie Hynde (from that album) the other day.

No, but last night he did Wings and Anthem from Ringo 2012. Cool tunes!

Fingers crossed for New Mexico! Meanwhile, Ringo will do a show tonight in Albuquerque.
Ringo Starr ROCKED a crowd of 4,000 in Albuquerque tonight!! GREAT show!!
Glad you had a great time. Ringo's shows are fun gigs and his current band is pretty special.

Who's in it this time 'round?
-
same as the last couple years isn't it?
-
Ringo Starr is hitting the road this summer with his All Starr Band, which will once again feature Toto's Steve Lukather, Mr. Mister's Richard Page, original Santana singer Gregg Rolie, Todd Rundgren and drummer Gregg Bissonette. We saw Ringo and the All Stars in Tunica, MS July 3rd - very enjoyable show. Actually coming back to the area October 12th at Snowden Grove in Southaven, MS.

I guess that guy from The Romantics isn't touring with Ringo this time. Thanks!

Australia/New Zealand 2015. ...still hearing strong rumblings.
-
I hope he keeps on touring!

RMartinez:
IF he does a show between San Diego and Lubbock, realistic options are Las Vegas, NV, Denver, or El Paso. While I would love a show in Albuquerque, it just does not seem to be in the cards.
Seems this tour he's doing 3 shows a week. With S.D the 28th and Lubbock Oct. 2nd, I'm thinking Vegas would be perfect for Sept. 30th.

Considering Ringo fired him in early 2012 it seems News do not travel fast

I mean no offense, but someone asked me about this and now I am curious: how can Paul make more money by playing in smaller markets such as Fargo and Lubbock (and other similarly-sized cities in the current US tour) than he would in a series of concerts in bigger capital cities across Europe, Australia and/or the UK? Is it due to the number of shows (more than 20) and by mixing smaller areas with bigger ones (such as Chicago and Los Angeles), or does he actually make a profit at every single show, no matter where it is?

Aren't tickets more expensive in the US than in Europe (dunno about Australia)? Plus from what I understand it seems he sells more soundcheck packages there as well. Plus, if he's already in the US playing bigger cities it's cheaper to also play smaller cities than it is dragging the equiptment over to Europe? Finally, Nancy in particular probably prefers touring in the US since it's her home country.

I don't know for sure. I can't believe Lubbock, Fargo, Missoula, etc. are generating what even L.A. or Chicago can. Which is cool. But it confuses me even more why he won't play Albuquerque, which is much bigger than those markets. He makes money no matter what. He is not putting up any money. The ones who have to worry about making a profit are the promoters. He won't leave Lubbock saying, "Wow! I lost $200,000 on that concert!" Rather, he is guaranteed a certain amount then it is up to the promoters to try and make a profit over and beyond what he gets paid.
