Some good shows people are seeing. I was tempted by the Eagles, but couldn't make it in the end. I just got tickets to see Sean Lennon's GOASTT in September. I'm really liking the album, so should be a good show.

Pretty much rounded off my year concert wise by booking Paulo Nutini and Caro Emerald last week,of course that plan may go out the window if Paul tours the UK of course. So a busy years end now after what seemed like a quieter year for me,looking forward to them all now.
-
going to try to see morbid angel in a couple weeks and hopefully paul next month
-
Survived Paul in Pittsburgh! Of course he was MARVELOUS as always, my full review is on the Pittsburgh thread. All that leaves me with is Cher & Pat Benatar Sept. 29th @ Verizon Center. I've had three GREAT concert experiences this year and I'm so glad to have them. But this year has certainly been a year of quality over quantity. Not a lot of hot tours out there or reasonable ticket prices. Last year I had 13 shows and this year....four.

I've got Paolo Nutini coming up later in the year. Can't wait, he's fantastic! Also got The Killers coming up next month, they aren't the worlds best live band but it's always good craic.
-
My girlfriend just won tickets to see Neon Trees TONIGHT! Guess I've got another concert on the calendar!....
-
Looking at tickets to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in either L.A. or Anaheim this October.
-
Just won tickets on the radio to see Dave Matthews Band tonight in West Palm Beach...should be fun.

WixRocks!:
Couldn't get reasonably priced tickets for Fleetwood Mac so, we won't be going. Oh well. It doesn't sound like this is a farewell by any means....more of a new beginning. BUT! We're heading to Pittsburgh for our boy PAUL! As soon as we can get some tickets!
I couldn't find affordable tickets to Fleetwood Mac either. A bit disappointed. But Paul coming to San Diego more than makes up for it!
-
Still some good and reasonably priced seats for Fleetwood Mac in Fort Lauderdale December 19...still going back and forth. May end up pulling the trigger before the weekend is up!
-
Saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse the other week, easily the loudest concert ive been too in recent years, great fun and a masterclass in the art of the guitar solo highly recommended in my eyes.
-
Added another one! Catching Mike Love & Bruce Johnston's Beach Boys for the fifth time this Monday. Last minute purchase, since they added John Stamos to the show! Always a fun time!

Saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers last night for the first time, and they were fabulous. What a tight, tight band; they played flawlessly to my ears. Tom has an endearing "aw shucks" kind of stage persona that seems really authentic. I was touched that after the roaring "American Girl" encore he stayed on stage alone for a bit to sign a few autographs. His closing comment to the audience was "God bless you all," and the piped-in music as we were all leaving the auditorium was none other than "This Is Love." George's tune was a lovely send-off after a great concert. The four new tracks from Hypnotic Eye were quite good. Steve Winwood, the opener, is still in very fine voice, and performed a strong rendition of Dear Mr. Fantasy. His band (and sound system), however, were not as good as have played with him before. Their version of Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys reminded me too much of lounge music, and even though he had a saxophone player in his group, he chose not to do the great sax solo for that tune.

Considering Stevie Wonder Nov. 9th @ Verizon Center....never had the chance to see him, may never again....what a legend. Also considering John Mellencamp at The Lyric on June 12th 2015. Can't believe that was announced NOW!? Wish Paul's people would try that trick!
-
Fleetwood Mac - Dec. 7th - Honda Center - Anaheim. Just got a ticket in the pre-sale!
-
Slipped in Kylie in a couple of weeks and on the back of a great new album Deacon Blue right on top of christmas, anymore dates for me who knows i do rather hope so
-
Mellencamp and Stevie Wonder are just too pricey for me....Cher & Pat Benatar got rescheduled....Cher has some voice thing....so December 6th is all I got left this year!
-
In the last 2 weeks i saw The GOASTT (ie Sean Lennon and his band) three times, i've always loved Sean's music (100% genuinely, not cos of who he is) and they were absolutely fantastic.
-
^ I also saw them last week - great show.

James Taylor on Wednesday
