It's really ridiculous. Either you have to have connections or be super rich. Usually the two go hand-in-hand. : I wonder if there'll be any seats for us regulars...

How about inviting your LOYAL BOARDIE fans, Paul? Private and invite-only? Classic one-percenter move :
We're talking about a guy who had a conniption because an assistant once served him tea without a doily. (allegedly)
That's insane. LOL, why does it seem that the crazies get elected or get famous But seriously. I hope he releases some tix to the public. And a doily? Get over it, Paul.
-
I love Macca, but if that were me, I would've told him exactly what he could do with that doily. I don't take sh-t off anybody. Ever.

Not yet, but looking that way. My theory, if it's public, is that tickets will be dropped tomorrow morning, relatively unannounced, maybe at the venue itself to prevent a huge amount of people from camping outside the venue overnight. I also wonder what the prices would be. Something tells me like $99.50 or $89.50. It would be SRO.

If true, then all I can say is Paul we love you and all but...... Get over yourself.

Ok... Tickets will be public according to my source. $40 release tomorrow

So not just for the rich or VIP's? 40.00 seems like a steal... no?

Well.... How many would be willing to wait in the snow and then stand during the show? Only the hardcore fans They're treating us

McCartney nowadays is SO full of himself that he has forgotten the average folk. Moreover he is as far removed from the spirit of The Beatles and all they stood for. He has become LA. Good luck to him. If this is the way he wants to spend his final years ...being feted by plastic people blowing smoke up his proverbial. John and George gone, Ringo not bothered to counter him but as God is my witness...The Beatles were NEVER all about YOU, Paul. And no amounts of silly grins and thumbs ups will change that.

That's a good question about who and how many would be willing to wait for tickets. If they are available for purchase to the public and not only a VIP event, I guess we will find out .I'm thinking if tickets are available, they shouldn't have a problem getting rid of them regardless of the weather, which is going to be BRUTAL. I have seen a few bands there and standing wasn't a problem for me it was similar to watching a band in a very large bar atmosphere, but that is a personal preference. If your source is correct (and I hope he is) and the ticket are $40.00 or around that how can anybody complain about the price? It would be a bargain. But until we know it's just speculation. Are you planning on attending? If so and we both get in maybe I'll see you there!

You bet I'll be there! Going to sleep in a few and waking at 8:30 am just in case any ticket news drops at say 9 am or so. My source seems pretty accurate. I think they'll only be at box office only though. Not too much of a problem for me. I'm coming from Northern Westchester (Pleasantville) and it's about 1 hr drive. I just hope he didn't give like 900 away to VIPs and only 125 to us :/. If it is box office only then I wonder how many older folk will be willing to wait in the brutal snow (3 inches). Only the hardcore fans! I hope they're just released online in the morning though. I have my GOogle Alerts set! The band is in NYC. Got a good feeling about this one!

It's not the 3 inches of snow I'm worried about it's the 8 degree temp. without wind chill. Maybe a flask will help, I'm taking mine!! How do you know the band is in town? If they are released to the public and you get a ticket PM me and let me know, I'll do the same. GOOD LUCK, I hope it works!

Rusty posted a pic today of Central Park, and Brian posted a pic of a building in NYC today. Plus, they mentioned a couple of days ago that they were flying to NYC.

Nobody could complain about that price in any venue but especially a small one! As for the weather, I think that the weather was pretty bad when Paul taped those Up Close concerts at the Ed Sullivam Theatre back in the 90s...I didn't go but I remember hearing that from people who waited in line to get in. So it may not deter everyone. If I was in NYC I would probably give it a try. Good luck to you!

Thanks, and same to you! Really hoping I can get a hold of tickets. Members of the band have posted pics of NY. Now I'm hearing they'll be on TM this morning. Hmm... Beats waiting in the cold for 4 hours. (Or more)
