Robert Plant/Led Zeppelin - Rock and Roll (teaser from the forthcoming DVD of the reunion shows)
I'd argue against that...Robert Plant is sorta in that Elton John category of "Yeah, it still sounds good...but it is quite different from the 70's!"

Rob's voice was phenomenal in the 70s, I thought the video showcased the talents he still has to offer. I love Zeppelin! I saw ole Bobby Weed with the Band of Joy on their US tour 2011...it was like zeppelin + banjos! My point was just that he's sorta made a new sound for himself, much like Elton John has. It isn't what the record sounds like, but it's still good...it's only rock and roll...but I like it

I agree with the notion that Neil Young, Robert Plant, David Gilmour, David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash all have kept their lovely singing voices.

I'm one in that small minority of people who prefers solo-Plant over Zeppelin, but Robert Plant has managed to make vocal magic, despite his limitations these days.

Our local dj Pierre Robert had him on his show today doing several songs from Breakfast in America acoustic. Awesome!
