Wow! I wish I could go to this show!
-
Mmmm...tempted to go. Not interested in the Olympic Stadium shows, but this one...
-
All the Crowdsurge tickets went sold out less than 5 minutes.......
-
Budokan...Wow, that's epic! Site of the only 2 complete color video concerts of The Beatles ever! That's three historic venues he's playing this year from the last Beatles' tour! And to add that to the tour with only two weeks notice!
-
Who's got tickets to this show? It will be truly special. By the way, I've been told that there are no Hot Sound packages, and that the concert will begin at 3 PM. I wonder why?

Hi Carlos, I read somewhere that the concert starts early because there is a different concert the following night (so I guess they have to get the gear out early, perhaps by midnight?). As for the Hot Sound packages, this might have to do with the odd way the ticketing was done. They were only selling "vouchers" for each price point, not tickets for specific seats (even on Crowdsurge). Everyone has to pick up their tickets at will-call, and only then do they find out where exactly their seats are. The entire floor is at the highest ticket price of around $1000 US, though the floor is fairly small by comparison with most places he plays - the stage will probably take up at least a quarter of it. There is also a really cheap ticket for people under 25 years only. It is $15! My guess is: (a) the concert is being filmed. (b) there will be no screens behind the stage. (c) most of the under 25s will be seated behind the stage. (d) many more of them will be put in the front rows (probably the best looking ones).
Put all of the above together and maybe it explains why there are no Hot Sound packages? Also, because the show is starting early, there might only be a short sound check?

I wish he would add Munich's Circus Krone to that list of 1966 venues

Do we know that the Budokan concert is still on the schedule? If it is canceled, that does not bode well for Paul's medical condition. For his sake, I hope he rests up and doesn't force himself to perform if his health isn't up to it.
-
Not looking good.

If you see in the main site, Tours, for Budokan or Seoul you can't find tickets on sale...only VIP tickets are open for USA date...I feel so bad...need to know... I'm praying for him every day...

And now it's official: the Asian tour is not going to happen. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=139730186197408&id=118076515029442&refid=17 Release Statement regarding the remaining Japanese shows A spokesperson for Paul McCartney said: Paul McCartney will regrettably have to cancel the remaining Japanese shows. Paul is still not feeling better and this cancelation is unavoidable. He was hoping to be better but the doctors have ordered him complete rest. Paul has been extremely moved by the messages from his fans and is upset to be letting them down. All possibilities to find a solution to reschedule these shows as soon as possible are being explored. From Paul: I was really looking forward to playing in Japan again after we had such an amazing time here in November. So to cancel these shows as well as the National Stadium shows is hugely disappointing for me as well. I'd like to thank my Japanese fans for their love, messages of support and understanding. I hope to see you all again soon. Love, Paul

The release says. Japan does that mean he will try to make the South Korea show?

Hopefully. The press release was aimed at he Japamese press, so who knows? http://outthere-japantour.com/

Would he really stay over there in Asia for another week in the hopes that he might be able to do one show? I think he should go home to the UK and get the rest he needs there, close to his familiy. And that's probably what he will do...

There has been no official notice on the main website regarding Osaka and Seoul.

Osaka is definitely off. The press release announced that all of the Japanese dates are cancelled. We don't know about Seoul yet.

The main website is probably working on putting together a statement for both Japan and South Korea, with info about ticket refunding, possible future plans/rescheduling, and hopefully a little update on how he is doing.
