Chimes At Midnight is an Orson Welles movie.

Or McCartney III!

If it were to be a compilation, this would be the track list. Basically, songs in this sort of vain. The World Tonight That Was Me Ever Present Past Queenie Eye Friends to Go Too Much Rain I Can Bet Sing The Changes Flaming Pie Smile Away Winedark Open Sea Looking At Her
-
The New II cover could be 3 vertical lines, 3 horizontal lines, 3 vertical lines and 2 more vertical lines. Instead of light bulbs, they could be cell phones lined up, and the background could be some tired old internet meme.

Would love to see something of a wildcard.... Maybe a track resurrected from Beatle days.... one of the ones he didn't finish. Just a total surprise.

My wish is that Paul McCartney's new album display lots of variety and diversity in music styles and themes, rather along the lines of "Flowers in the Dirt," "Memory Almost Full" (the one with "My Ever Present Past" "Dance Tonight" etc.) and similar works. Variety to stimulate the listener intellectually and emotionally. His album "New" featured this stunning attribute, in large part. Also desire some amazingly catchy tunes like his song "New." However this turns out, to know it originated in his mind and heart and tremendous musicality already renders his upcoming new music a winner, to me
At this time, my wish is more details about when it may actually be finished and released.

Something like "From Me to You, Songs Old and New" would be a nice title... especially if there's going to be covers of other artists or re-workings of his classic songs, as well as new compositions... To get input from his fanbase, he could have a contest where fans can submit titles for his new album... the winner could get a couple of tickets to one of his concerts or something... just an idea Would be nice to have music on the album that he's performed live, but never commercially recorded... examples are his solo guitar arrangement of "Foxy Lady" by Jimmy Hendrix or "Besame Mucho" (sang for fun during the Let it Be sessions but never released) ... or some of the songs he used to play with George on the mandolin, like "Ain't She Sweet" and "Baby Face" etc... I know that's quite a mix, lol, was just trying to think of songs I know he's performed or sung but never recorded for an album....

A Percy Thrillington would be nice. ð???ð??¶ ð???ð??

Besame Mucho is on the Decca Tapes album. (I know, not an official release)

I have the entire session on vinyl in excellent quality. When I got it (sometime in the '70s) I had no idea it was a bootleg.

Hi NancyR & oobu24, Were you thinking of this version of Besame Mucho, that was done by the Beatles for Decca records?
I was thinking of this solo version by Paul during the Let it Be seesions, played slower as more of a ballad. -
Like Willy Wonka, there should be a 5 hidden gold backstage passes in 5 of his new albums! The winners get to meet Paul and Nancy at the show of their choice and get to hang out with him for the remainder of the tour. I know its only wishful thinking but it would be cool!

But as far as youtube the 2 versions you cited are there too. Here's one that says Let It Be version which is what you cited. It is on the Rhine River Tapes. There are a few vol of Rhine.

Ok, thanks! Didn't know the Let it Be version was already out there. Was thinking it would be nice if he could record a new version of it sometime

Never hurts to suggest ideas, jl461! Would be great if there was a contest of some kind to do with the new album, and fans could perhaps win a couple of tickets to a concert.. would be up to Paul & band as to what would go with that (as far as getting photos/autographs with him and band backstage, etc)... anyway, just thought some kind of a contest associated with the album's release (of Paul & the band's choosing) could be an idea

Hi LadyLeslie! How are you? I think we both came up with some good ideas! Paul should have some free tickets and backstage passes hidden in the albums.

Hi jl4761! doing good, thanks Yes it's great to share ideas. Even if they're not used, I'm sure Paul has people that advise him on ideas for his fanbase, to market his new album, and if they check the forums here to get an idea about what the fans would like, that probably helps them, when they're trying to formulate marketing campaigns and make decisions, etc. It's probably beneficial for them to know about any ideas or opinions the fans may have
