Paul McCartney 2016 Rumors

What do you think about that - Id write to every Live Nation in whole Europe. Live Nation Denmark said that they arent planning any Macca show. But Polish and Czech Live Nation said something like that - we like to, but unfortunatelly we cant give you more information about it. Polish site add - look to our social network pages. It mean something, or I am just sick about Macca gigs? BTW when I had wrote to polish Live Nation in September last year, they said to me that they arent planning in future to organize his performance

You can try it, and if you do, try to get a date for the Madrid gig

... And the good thing is any UK dates won't clash with Download Festival as he is in Germany that weekend. Hope to god he announces some UK dates. It'll be a great summer if so!...
That's a great point which I'd not thought of before! Great that the two don't clash - I'd be hard pushed to choose between the two events. I'm assuming any UK dates will be in either London, Manchester, Birmingham or Liverpool but hoping for the latter as I've seen Paul there on his last two visits.

I've just talked to Live Nation Spain and they told me the concert in Madrid is scheduled to June 2nd, announcement - next week.

that's interessting. maybe there is really something in pipeline. I would say there is a chance for Krakow, Wroclaw, or Praha. Can't imagine Warszawa (cause it's only 3 years ago...)

Reading back... So should I overhaul my whole West Coast trip and fly back and forth to get 1 date in Vancouver in, or will there be any dates in between 21-29 April? Again, great how his team handles this...

Anyone have prices for Sound check and gold level packages? Seattle and Portland specifically. I am not finding any specifics on ticketmaster.
The Germany VIP ones seem reasonable http://www.eventtravel.com/paul-mccartney-tickets-one-on-one-tour-2016?agentCodeWeblink=AF2074
No kidding. . .compared to front row here @ $2000 and Hot Sound @ $1500! If I could pay $639 for the Hot Sound pkg, I'd do it every time!
That is really unfair to those of us in the U.S.! Why does he do this?
Because you guys gladly pay those prices, and Europeans draw the line at the already excessive normal ticket prices and don't, basically... How many people did the silly priced champagne packages for the second Amsterdam gig last Summer? The only group I saw queuing up for it where the Conservatorium/Rock Academy students who were asked to fill up the sections which couldn't be filled.

His handlers will clearly book him only in shiny, new arenas. No way Sioux Falls or Little Rock can pay him more than Albuquerque. To be fair, we have a depressed economy, and no shiny, new facilities. Can't really blame him, I guess.
We have plenty of shiny new facilities. He's not coming here either.

Berlin has general admission tickets so it could be your second option if other shows that you want are not announced. In Amsterdam last year there were general admission tickets up until the actual shows - for Berlin I would think there might be general admission available for about a week after the pre-sale. But I wouldn't wait too long. The longer you wait, hotels and transportation might sell out or get more expensive.

If no UK shows then i will try for Berlin.

This is not always so true! He played a basketball arena in Lubbock probably 40 years old.

Glad you understand - of course! Have booked my DL tix already and CANNOT miss Rammstein and Mauden. So glad we're not faced witg this delima! I am thinking of teavelling to see Macca. I suppose, apart from London he'll play Manchester for certain. I think it's a must to see the man play his own city at some point, too. Fingers crossed!

Oh wow, what a dilemma. I am definitely going to do Fresno. I WANT to do soundcheck....it is my bucketlist. But I want hubby to go with me, but he doesn't care about soundcheck, but he wants to see Paul, and I want him to sit with me. arrrggghhh. I wish I knew if HE was going to come to a closer venue, but what if Fresno is the closest he will get? What if I do Fresno, and then find out he is coming closer? This is what will keep me up tonight.
Can't help your dilema with the husband. Me, I would just get soundcheck and let him sit wherever
Guilty as charged . . .that's what I did last time. 3rd row center for me; nosebleed for hubby (6th show - he didn't care)

Looking at the venues that are announced so far, it seems that he's playing a few "less obvious" places where he hasn't been for a while or has never been to (Dusseldorf, Sioux Falls, Fresno etc.). If any UK shows do transpire it would be great if threw in a Newcastle, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Leeds, Southampton etc. as well as the usual London/Liverpool/Birmingham.

I'm just hoping he doesn't schedule the show nearest me at the same time as already scheduled vacations in August and September.

He played United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock, built in 1999. The Pit in Albuquerque was built in 1966, and Tingley Coliseum was built in 1957, I believe. There is a new 8,000 seat arena in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, but that is too small for Paul.

Everyone has that dilemma. I will be in Italy July 2-15, so that is set. Can't do anything about it, except eat pasta and drink wine!

I believe in the possibility of a show in France or Italy between show in Madrid, 2 june and Munich, 10 june. I also think about the possibility of a show in France the first week of July, after European Football Championship. venues: Lyon, Nice, Bordeaux,Toulousse...
