The Stange things seen at a McCartney gig

The first oddity you described intrigues me. Was that around Manchester 2011???
That sounds like something I saw a couple of times during the 2002 tour preshow thing

People who pay upwards of $200.00 a ticket and then try and talk through the entire concert. Pretty strange! :
I've seen people inebriated to the point where they probably never remembered they were at a Paul McCartney concert
-
I saw someone vomit his beer into his friend's beer. I think that counts more as repulsive than strange. That also might have been a Fleetwood Mac concert.
-
Probably in 2005, when the curtain rose to open the show and started to lift Paul's microphone and mike stand up with it!

Waiting outside the arena in Charlotte for Paul's show to begin, more men than women went up to a security guard to ask questions about Paul, and when would the show start, etc. I wondered, "Are those guys in love with him? LOL, lovesick fans" At the end of the show I saw Paul scramble (on the giant screen) to pluck up a bouquet of flowers someone had thrown on the side of the stage where he was leaving...not really that strange, I guess. It was nice

I've seen some strange things at McCartnry gigs over the years including a women bending over in a leotard and getting into a glass box in didn't leave much to the imagination. I've seen fans painted blue from head to toe. I seen couples having a romantic touch ( you know what I mean ) I've seen a fella with a flashing crown covered in McCartney tattoos get up on stage with Paul. I have seen a women take her panties of a try to throw on stage only for them to land on a security guys shoulder .What strange or odd thongs have you seen at a McCartnry gig ??? Or what strange thing have you done ??
People cheering a solo song - lol.

That one too, and waving their beer around like it's a baton. People making total asses of themselves. I've had beer spilled on me at concerts and it's no fun let me tell you.

People arriving after the show has begun, and leaving before it's over.

The strangest thing that ever happened to me at a Paul McCartney concert was when some chick working undercover at the 2009 Atlanta Piedmont Park Concert approached me and said that she wrote "My Love." Yes. You read that correctly. Looking back, I'm sure that it was a security tactic to see if I was a terrorist or something -- being that I was one of the few people there with brown skin.
-
Audi, You mean she didn't!
-
Well, I had to Google it to be sure that she was lying, but -- nope, she didn't.

Wow. That's low. Either you're correct or she's really drunk! But... Do they think terrorists aren't well resourced, and don't know much? They may be crazy, but they sure aren't dumb!

I take our boy's security seriously, but I was hurt and offended for weeks after that.

I feel bad that you had to deal with that Audi...So she was undercover? As in wearing street clothes? Wow! What else did she say?

No reason to feel insulted. You actually have no idea why she did that. She was probably just drunk or high. Or checking who would believe her.

That's just crazy. Especially at today's prices.

Can't argue with that. I leave a little room for doubt.

Strange things at Paul's concerts? All kinds of stuff. Like the time a guy sat on the floor and grabbed my pants in order to prevent me from reaching the front row before he did.
