There will be "Flowers In The Dirt" Tour Merch for US One On One Tour 2017.
Photos? Source?
I'm guessing that probably just means that they will be selling the Flowers In The Dirt Deluxe Edition at the merchandise stands. Nothing more. Why would there be anything else?

Who is going to buy a $120 set and carry it around an arena? That's not "tour merch". I presume this to mean at the bare minimum, a T-Shirt or two. It's a rather ominous and random statement to make, so I was wondering if the poster had a photo or source they could back this up with.

A Flowers In The Dirt t-shirt being sold at the 2017 tour would be nonsensical. but i did state that I was "guessing." Also, I've seen people buy all kinds of random expensive merch at shows and tote it around, so a deluxe FITD is not outside the realm of possibility.

I didn't even think to check the store! And look at that, new 2017 merch in there too! Or for most of them, 2016 and beyond designs with new dates on the back I'm sure there's a little more that isn't on the website yet, but I'll probably end up with the one they're calling "vertical blue"...the FITD shirts on there are a bit dull...

Yes, I saw but thank you for the individual links I always buy one with the dates on the back, and of the four shown online...only ONE is a new design, at least in the US. Narrowed down my decision rather quickly! I already have one and don't like the other two they've been using!

That Hofner jacket is nice!

Out of my range! Besides, that color wouldn't suit me!

McCartney can think of only one reason he's able to play three-hour shows at age 74. "I like doing it," he says. "Once you get in front of an audience - and I've experienced this many times - it charges your battery." He's promising a "refreshed" version of 2016's One on One Tour, hitting cities he's never played, like Wichita, Kansas. His favorite moments include "A Hard Day's Night" ("That opening chord is still a thrill") and "Live and Let Die," which takes the end of the night to a new level. "All the girls in the audience say, 'You don't even have a sip of water.' Can you imagine the Beatles stopping: 'Excuse me, glug-glug-glug'? I'm not raised in the 'drink water' school." from Rolling Stone
More from Rolling Stone interview, sounds like the same old stuff for the most part to me. "It looks like you change the set lists frequently. What have you enjoyed playing live lately? We're doing "Hard Day's Night," which we hadn't done before this tour. And that opening chord is still a thrill. So that's good to do. I like doing "Temporary Secretary," because that's a little bit of a challenge and it's got an electronic pulse. So that's cool. I like doing "Band on the Run," "Live and Let Die" and "1985" from Wings. I like doing the ballad I wrote for [my wife] Nancy, "My Valentine." I also like doing "For the Benefit of Mr. Kite," that's nice to do. With "Mr. Kite," the thing about it is, it's quite challenging cause the bass part goes somewhere that the vocal doesn't go. So it's like you've got to split your body in half and send one half to do the vocal and send the other half to do the bass part. That's good to do; it's quite hard to do." "Since the fantastic Sgt. Pepper's box set just came out, will you be putting more from that album in the set? Well, we do a few. We put the actual "Sgt. Pepper's" song in. I hate to say this, but there's only three surprises that we have in the show, so here I go giving them away. What I would try to do is have people go, "Oh, I didn't know they do that one, man." So yeah, there are one or two. But as far as these days with the Internet world, you can't have a surprise after the first gig. There are a few."

Yeah, my guess is that it'll be the Reprise that he included in Tokyo.... Maybe the other 'surpise" is I Wanna Be Your Man that he also played in Tokyo/Desert Trip?

Instead of the reprise version, I'd prefer he play the main version, plus the long guitar jam, similar to how he did it in '89-'90, and '93. A good chance to show off his musicianship, and save his voice for a few minutes!
-
No I totally agree, I would LOVE to hear the actual full song. I think he could still pull it off. Realistically, I feel like he'll play the Reprise though.
-
I'm guessing the three surprises that Paul said will be Sgt. Peppers (Reprise), I Wanna Be Your Man and a song to replace Save Us (Junior's Farm, maybe). Unfortunately it seems that the man still doesn't understand the real impact of internet these days. But I hope I'm wrong. I would love to see more solo songs.

He did "Letting Go" instead of "Juniors Farm" which is the only difference from Tokyo I believe and he is almost at the end of show before encore.

_____________________________________________ Thanks puppy whimpers Not sure what this means...promising a "refreshed" version of 2016? Is he referring to just the fact that he will continue to do 3 hour shows or visiting new cities or markets that he has never been or hasn't been for a long time. My definition of a "refreshed version of 2016" has everything to do with at least a few new songs. Anything else has little interest to me.
Same old show so don't buy a ticket for Tampa. Only difference has been "Letting Go" instead of "Juniors Farm" and he is doing "Live and Let Die" now. Unless he totally shakes up encore ( lol !!!), not refreshed at all.

Um, actually he just addressed this very thing in his July 6th Rolling Stone interview. He understands more than you think. You should check your facts before posting.

I would like to hear the entire RAM album . Now that album is pure McCartney.
