I thought I'd read something about a Deluxe edition coming up, must have been someplace else, and people were wondering if there would be any goodies..two new songs isn't too bad I suppose
-
Thanks, jimmix, this is what I've been waiting for!
-
^ will this be available in the UK (such as amazon uk, and instores) or is it only an import from amazon.com (which will incur hefty custom charges). Anyone know?
-
Sounds really interesting...especially the titles of the songs!
-
'Demons Dance' is the Bonnaroo June 2013 soundcheck song. Very catchy piano tune, so glad it doesn't end up locked in the bottomless vault.

Do you have a link for it?

Could have, should have included Japan's Alligator and On My Way To Work soundcheck clips.
-
Feel ripped off again yet another special edition. How many more versions will come out. I guess we will be sold further versions off the same songs but by the different producers In the week Apple/U2 give a brand new album free it makes it hard eh I bet the delay for the remastered old stuff is just so they can push yet a other version of New at us. Perhaps it's time to chance the name from New to More of the same

Yes a link would be useful, I scanned through the "full Bonnaroo" soundcheck here
and couldn't spot it. There is a snippet of "Everybody Out There" though at around 60' that would have been unheard at the time I believe. -

Well Paul isn't forcing you to buy the new one coming out. If you feel that ripped off then don't buy it. Simple as that.

Thanks, good catch. Hope we're getting an actual studio recording and not that soundcheck clip, like what happened for "Womenkind"

Ripped off mah, only bought one deluxe reissue before personally and that was down to vanity and it was reduced. Bit disappointed when I get emails about things such as this as I tend to get excited, "YEAH PAUL HAS WRITTEN TO ME , AGAIN". U2 love the guitar sound but cant stand the voice, bit like bob Dylan just cant get pass the voice. And, anyways I am still boycotting the name stealers. And yes I have some Jackson five but no Michael. I only ever feel forced to go and see him in concert. Memo to Mr McCartney please announce UK gigs whilst I have the money.

No "Women Kind" from MACCA I, they just reused a lo-fi circulating demo http://wogew.blogspot.fr/2011/04/mccartney-mccartney-ii-its-official.html

Same here on seeing him live! Every concert I say that's the last one, especially since it's been virtually the same show sans the new CD songs. Next month in New Orleans will be my sixth time seeing him. I'm pretty sure this is the last.......unless I feel forced again.

To be fair though, that demo cassette was stolen from Paul in the 70's so that's the only version MPL has as well.
