Where's Paul been lately?

Yes, on TV on Friday night. https://www.msn.com/en-us/music/video/grammys-greatest-stories-preview/vp-BBF80ut John Legend and Carrie Underwood Set to Co-Host "GRAMMYs(R) Greatest Stories: A 60th Anniversary Special" Airing Friday, Nov. 24 on CBS http://www.4-traders.com/news/John-Legend-and-Carrie-Underwood-Set-to-Co-Host-GRAMMYs-Greatest-Stories-A-60th-Anniversary-Speci--25512122/
Looks like they're doing an Abbey Road album tribute - not sure if its live or a recorded segment from the past. I love the Lennon/Paul Simon Grammy clip from the mid-70s. Wonder if that will come up.

Paul has just finished his last concert of 2017 here in New Zealand. He had a couple days off for r&r near Napier. It did him good. Also on video he was seen holding and commentating about a kiwi bird of which he holds the big bird as it struggles to get away. If you google you will find them. He’s very natural on those videos and quite casually dressed. I think he has a concert in Germany around 27th Dec 17 and is sold out. Merry Christmas to everyone.

thanks, JimT, didn't know he was doing a concert in Germany.
Loved the video of Paul in NZ holding the Kiwi bird.

I posted the photo below in the "Paul's New Album and Promotion" thread, but it should be posted here too.
Photo taken in New York on December 20 of Paul with Robert L. Smith (left) of Defy Recordings, other man is unidentified. Robert is an Oscar & Grammy winning, Emmy nominated Producer/Engineer/Mixer. Hopefully this has something to do with the recording and release of Paul's new album!

He's still got that same ride Long Tall Sally and they're in St. Barts, that luxury seaside playground for the ultra wealthy, again.

Thanks so much for sharing this, Oobu! He's looking great, as always! He must be very busy now at work in the recording studio.

Sounds like they are STILL working on it...A few McCartney mentions here...

How did you post that pic LL? I think instagrams used to "show themselves" but not now.

Hi oobu
From Firefox, I just right click and then select "View page info"... then go to Media tab and scroll down until I see the image's link, and copy it. Some websites have right click disabled, but Instagram doesn't so far, at least not with the Firefox browser.

Oh, Firefox. I use Chrome & on another laptop MS Edge. Why can't this stuff be standardized?
edit: I checked in Chrome & yes...it's there too. Thanks!

You're welcome, Oobu! Seems like every browser type has features in common, with different ways of accessing them.

Paul and Nancy after leaving a restaurant in LA yesterday. He's looking great, and still has that same Beatle boy smile!
-
This is the same Beatle boy look I was thinking of
-
YES!!! I was thinking the same thing! He looks so much younger when he smiles broadly like that.
-
yeah I saw that pic of Paul in Hollywood taken just yesterday and he looks absolutely super, smashing, having a great time in one of his favorite playgrounds and also recording his new album, looks like, glory be, in La La Land recording studio

He does look great, doesn't he? He always looks so happy when he's recording or out performing his music

So that probably means new album will be out by the summer at best or maybe fall.

I'd say fall too. Hope we're wrong...

I suspect the mixing is taking place now or maybe has even been completed? Add on six months to get the promotional campaign set up and I guess we must be looking at the Autumn (October / November) for the new albums release. It could even be tied into the 50th anniversary of 'The Beatles' (White) album release for an extra boost of publicity. Unless of course The Beatles decide to re-issue that album in which case Paul's album could be brought forward so as not to coincide.
