Where's Paul been lately?

absolutely amazing!! how come I don't end up in these little venues he pops up in?!!! You know, he is AMAZINGLY limber for his age, he moves like a 25 yo. Anybody know what his fitness/exercise routine is? He obviously works on it! How many 75 yo men can move like he does?!!!
"How many 75 yo men can move like he does?!!" Actually, more than you would think. In this day and age many older people are still quite active and can move around quite well. I play tennis in this one park and there is a older group of guys that play that are in their mid 70's and they still run around pretty darn good. My daughters both take regular yoga classes and they tell me there are a bunch of men in their 70's taking class. I give Mr. McCartney credit for staying fit but people need to remember he has the time and money to have the best of everything to help him stay fit.

Also people don't see him get out of bed the next morning when he hobbles across the bedroom floor muttering 'Never again'.

I was thinking the same thing. Next morning...or that evening even! He gets energized from all the crowds of people at his shows. He loves it.

On FB, if any of you are members of Paul McCartney Fanthology, someone posted a bunch of photos of Paul, Nancy, Mary, Simon, Stella and the grandkids (kids' faces were blurred) on the beach at St. Bart's. I'm sure they could be seen elsewhere online.

Time and money do not buy health. I know he likes to ride a bicycle. He's been vegetarian for decades, and he plays 3 hour concerts tour after tour. His lifestyle choices are what keeps him fit.

I didn't see FB, I saw the actual article & they (DM) even know or care about Mary being in any of the pics. There have been at least 3-4 articles (with pics) about this vacation...good PR.

They fail to identify Simon, Mary, Elliot and Arthur. And I doubt that was Miller and Bailey, as they are (almost) 12 and 10. Most likely the boy Paul was chasing around was Sam (eight) or Sid (5 ) and the girl Stella holding her hand was Reiley (6) ETA: I think the boy in the blue and white trunks is Sam and Sid is in the trunks with the red stripe. The curly haired boy could be Beckett (soon to be 9)

Very cute picture of Paul and Stella. Nancy looks great in her swimsuit picture, not many women 57 can look that good in swimsuit.

Further guessing that the older teenage boy Paul is about to wrap a towel around is Mary's son Arthur (17) and the boy in the blue shorts, black tee and wrist thingy attached to his surfboard is Elliott (14).
-
Great photos although was that really Paul or was it Ken Dodd?

I agree.

and might be in D.C. tonight for Pres. Obama's last big White House bash.
-
Photo of Paul arriving at the White House last evening. Hopefully there will be other photos released within the next day or two.
-
Wow that is cool. I can't wait to see more pics. But yeah Paul does need a break before doing another tour It is amazing how he just keeps on touring especially at his age
-
Yeah, it would be nice to see more pics of Paul at the event, but I read that the White House didn't allow guests to take any photos, so anything we see would have to be taken outside at night. At least we have one photo, it was good he was able to be there!

Why hello LadyLeslie! Where have you been? How's the weather in Kansas City? Congratulations on the Kansas City Chiefs making the Playoffs! Did you ever purchase the Beatles in KC booklet and attached CD? I would love to hear your opinion of it. Talk to you soon.

Hi jl4761! (waving) I tried to order the book and CD but it was "out of stock" on Amazon. Thanks for reminding me, so I can try again! Will let you know after reading it. It's sad that the two main sites that the Beatles were at in KC are gone now... the Municipal Stadium was torn down in the early 1970s, and the Muehlbach Tower where they stayed was torn down and rebuilt on the same spot in 1998. The older part of the hotel (from 1927) is still intact. Had a great turnout for "The Beatles: Eight Days a Week" in KC, at the Tivoli Theatre... it played for 9 weeks, until the DVD release. Every Friday night some friends and I went to see it until it closed, and it was always packed. It's freezing here... got a lot of snow here on Thursday, then the temperatures were so low everything that melted is a sheet of ice now. I've just stayed home with a nice pot of vegetable soup and a blanket, lol That is great about the Chiefs making the Playoffs... if they do well, we might have the Super Bowl in KC, who knows

Keep looking for the book and attached CD, you'll be glad you did. Let me know when you get it. I hope to talk with you more here on the forum in the mean time.
