From The Daily Mail (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-13502361/Its-ears-eyes-Sir-Paul-McCartney-81-reveals-unruly-long-grey-hair-Beatles-legend-leaves-office-building.html)
Paul leaving his office in London on Wednesday, June 5. The article says he has "long unruly grey hair"... I don't think it's that long.... or unruly... just looks relaxed, free and comfortable like he's a hip, here and now, with it, "happenin' " sort of guy
I know some may disagree, but I like the beard stubble... wasn't sure at first, but it's starting to grow on me. (Figuratively speaking of course! )
In the lower photo, it looks like he's trying to sing an opera aria... or perhaps "Besame Mucho" which he was filmed singing in 1969, and shown on the "Get Back" footage. The hand gestures in that photo are perfect for an opera singer!

@ladyleslie personally I love this look, better than dying the hair letting it be natural is really awesome .
-
@purple51 Yes, I agree 100%, he's looking great!
-
I'm struck by the fact that in every recent photo I've seen of them together, Paul looks younger than Bruce Springsteen, even though he's older and has grayer hair.
-
@bruce-m I think he may dye his hair (notice how much more silver it is here) plus, he has more wrinkles and just got over the peptic ulcer thing.

@njr Is Bruce Springsteen a vegan / vegetarian? Some online sites say he's trying to eat healthier now but hasn't been able to give up meat entirely.
Seems like Paul's vegetarian lifestyle and exercise regimen probably makes a difference in keeping him healthier and looking younger.

Bruce Springsteen story for everyone. My brother lived in Monroe, NY for many years and would hang out in local bar/restaurant sometimes which was called "The Captain's Table". His ex-wife worked there as a waitress a couple of nights a week. One night many years ago (probably around 25), two guys walk in with motorcycle helmets and ask for a table in the back. One of them is Springsteen and nobody knew who the other guy was so I guess it was not member of the band. Anyway, my ex- sister in law to her credit does not even acknowledge she knows it is Springsteen and asks them for their order. They order two burgers with fries and two draft beers. My ex-sister in law did tell the owner and he said he will try and make sure nobody bothers them. Anyway, they finish their burgers and beers and quietly grab their helmets and leave. They left a hundred dollar bill on the table which wound up being a awesome tip considering the cost of a burger and draft beer back then - lol.

Shocked that you think he looks good. Growing a beard is fine but actually trim/shape it so it looks like a beard. IMO Paul looks like he just has not shaved in a few weeks and don't think that is a good look. Paul is in his 80's, he should try to be looking distinguished not "hip". Longer hair is fine but my goodness have some style/shape to it. It looks unkept being over his ears on the side and flipping up in the back. Take a look back in the days when Paul was rocking a "mullet". That is how you wear long hair.

@yankeefan2 WOW! Great story!

I love ya Leslie, but I have to agree with yankeefan!

@yankeefan2 @njr Hi yankeefan. Just meant I'm glad for him that he's looking great and fit for someone of his age. I see people who are 82 who can barely walk and look much older than Paul. I'm just glad for him that he's doing so well health-wise and continuing to eat healthy and exercise and keep active. We can't expect he's always going to look like he's 45. None of us will be able to pull that off either when we're his age.
I hear what you're saying about wanting him to look distinguished, and more the age he is now... and not "hip"... but IMO Paul and Ringo as well are not at the point in their lives where they have to live like old men.... The Beatles were and still are the essence of cool, which is another word for hip. I don't know if they ever could be old, or uncool. Rock stars are a class unto themselves, and most of them don't have hair like the rest of us anyway which is ok. And they're like others of their generation who are trying to push back the clock as far as they can for as long as they can, and just enjoy life to the fullest. Time eventually catches up with all of us, but I say let Paul be as cool and hip as he wants, for as long as he wants, if it helps him enjoy life. Same for Ringo.
Anyway.... Some people may not like his current hairstyle or beard stubble... but have a feeling Paul probably considers his hair is like his setlist, of which he's said several times "if someone doesn't like it, we don't care, we're going to keep it that way anyway."

@yankeefan2 Thanks for the great Springsteen story! Must have made your ex-sister in law's day!! It was really smart of her to treat him like a normal customer, she might not have gotten as big a tip! I think celebrities appreciate that.
